I see you have proposed a merger of Lucas number into Lucas sequence. I think there are very good reasons why the articles should not be merged - I have explained these reasons on the articles' talk pages. If you want to consult other editors who are active in the mathematics area of Wikipedia you could mention the proposed merger on the WikiProject Mathematics talk page. Gandalf61 09:48, 21 January 2007 (UTC) Hi, Danielklein! I'd like to second what Gandalf61 just said. Please mention proposed mergers of two math articles on the [[math talk page before tagging the articles. Things will probably go more smoothly that way. Anyway, I don't think the proposed merger is a good idea, for reasons I've explained both here and here. Have a great day! DavidCBryant 12:34, 21 January 2007 (UTC)

File copyright problem with File:Zynaps animated logo.gifThank you for uploading File:Zynaps animated logo.gif. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the file. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page. If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. I am a bot alerting you that 2 of the articles that you created are tagged as Unreferenced Biographies of Living Persons. The biographies of living persons policy requires that all personal or potentially controversial information be sourced. In addition, to ensure verifiability, all biographies should be based on reliable sources. if you were to bring these articles up to standards, it would greatly help us with the current 19 article backlog. Once the articles are adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the list:

Melbourne meetup this Saturday
Hi there! You are cordially invited to a meetup at North Melbourne this Saturday (23 July). Details and an attendee list are at Wikipedia:Meetup/Melbourne 16 Hope to see you there! Could one of the knowledgable editors please clarify this? I get the impression that virama symbols are sound-killers, but I could find nothing on "hal kirama". (I assume "knows" in this sentence should be "recognizes" or "uses".) Thanks -- Jo3sampl (talk) 19:27, 13 September 2011 (UTC)

We noticed though that when you edited Colour names in Sinhala and English, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Orange (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject. This is the only way i could figure to contact you. please forgive me if it is inconvenient. i am new to wiki. I found your input regarding the Australian accent very helpful. I am an American Actor in Melbourne (married an Australian) working on my AU accent so I can get involved over here. I want to write out my parts phonetically but feel overwhelmed as to where to start. The needs affected are my being able to contribute creatively and my need for support. Would you suggest a starting point, or perhaps I could buy you a cuppa and pick your brain. ArbCom 2019 election voter messageA tag has been placed on Category:Articles with Sinhala-language external links requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section C1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the category has been empty for seven days or more and is not a disambiguation category, a category redirect, a featured topics category, under discussion at Categories for discussion, or a project category that by its nature may become empty on occasion. If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Liz Read! Deleting Sinhala filmsI noticed that you are going to delete Sinhala film articles, James Bond and Bindu (already). I got your point. So there is no any offence about deleting James Bond film. However, it is not fair with the film Bindu. Because, the film has received positive reviews from critics, as well as nominated in many film festivals and won some awards. Therefore, as you said earlier, the film is noteworthy to include here. Because, it has some importance. If any Sinhala movie has positive or negative critic review or award nominations, I do not think it is good to delete. Reconsider about it again. I hope you will get the point. Gihan JayaweeraHi, please note that @Gihan Jayaweera: is an autopatrolled editor, that means his article creation record has been examined and approved by admins. I have also seen a number of his articles and consider that they pass WP:GNG so if you continue to target his articles I will be opposing your actions as in my opinion they are invalid, also I believe you are harassing him more than helping him, imv Atlantic306 (talk) 17:40, 3 February 2020 (UTC) Your thread has been archived

Please carefully read this information: A community discussion has authorised the use of general sanctions for pages related to coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19). ——Serial # 10:13, 13 July 2020 (UTC) Arbcase "Discussion to prevent overzealous editing was derailed" DeclinedIn response to your request for arbitration of this issue, the Arbitration Committee has agreed that arbitration is not required at this stage. Arbitration on Wikipedia is a lengthy, complicated process that involves the unilateral adjudication of a dispute by an elected committee. Although the Committee's decisions can be useful to certain disputes, in many cases the actual process of arbitration is unenjoyable and time-consuming. Moreover, for most disputes the community maintains an effective set of mechanisms for reaching a compromise or resolving a grievance.
In all cases, you should review Wikipedia:Dispute resolution to learn more about resolving disputes on Wikipedia. The English Wikipedia community has many venues for resolving disputes and grievances, and it is important to explore them instead of requesting arbitration in the first instance. For more information on the process of arbitration, please see the Arbitration Policy and the Guide to Arbitration. I hope this advice is useful, and please do not hesitate to contact a member of the community if you have more questions.
