You may want to check out WP:RCP#Vandalism for a selection of warnings that can be applied in various situation. The "this is the only warning you will receive" warning (such as you applied here has limited application, and personally speaking, I almost never block people if that is, in fact, the only warning they have received. Cheers. Dina 20:48, 3 July 2007 (UTC)
HelloHi. I just thought I'd mention that it might be a good idea to check the last few edits to an article (if possible) when patrolling recent changes, rather than just the last edit. I say this because I noticed you revert some vandalism on the Rugrats article, but the version you reverted to had also been vandalised. It looks like two accounts were working together to produce vandalism in quick succession, hoping that you'd do exactly what you did! Have a look at the history of the Rugrats page and you'll see it. So, while you do sterling work at recent changes, it would be even better if you could check the last couple of edits before the edit you're reverting :-) Hope that's doable. User:RytudeHi there. I have gone ahead and reverted User:Rytude's edits at School of Oriental and African Studies. The material is copyvio from the SOAS website. Cheers. — mholland (talk) 15:34, 15 July 2007 (UTC)
Can you help me fix it?Please! I'm new. I'm sorry!-Zootch94
Mark Reynolds, master of the universeI just came across the guy that created the article that you found for Mark Reynolds, the master of the universe. He seems to have created another one, Mark L. Reynolds, before the first was deleted. Imagine if someone proposed merging them :-) Nyttend 21:17, 21 July 2007 (UTC)
Brotherhood 2.0Howdy. This is my first real article addition to WP so maybe you can help me. (Just as a reminder for you, you marked it for removal.) I'm trying to find citations and web references that are not from blog sources (or doesn't that matter?), but I don't see how this is an extension of the vlog project. I don't see a real difference between the articles for Brotherhood 2.0 and The Office, for example. What should I be doing to keep the page from being deleted, or is that simply not possible? It's an interesting sociological project that's becoming more and more popular and I think it's noteworthy. And no, it's not my vlog. :-) -Mangler 23:52, 3 August 2007 (UTC)

Not VandalismI think it is quite clear that my intention was neither testing nor vandalism.
AttaOn what basis do you consider Mohamed Atta to be living, as you stated here [1] Perhaps you might use a different warning in this case. Regards.Edison 03:56, 9 September 2007 (UTC)

The documentation and tutorials have also been revised and given a facelift. Most importantly a new user group New Page Reviewer has been created. Under the new rule, you may find that you are temporarily unable to mark new pages as reviewed. However, this is nothing to worry about - most current experienced patrollers are being accorded the the new right without the need to apply, and if you have significant previous experience of patrolling new pages, we strongly encourage you to apply for the new right as soon as possible - we need all the help we can get, and we are now providing a dynamic, supportive environment for your work. Find out more about this exiting new user right now at New Page Reviewers and be sure to read the new tutorial before applying. The article is also subject to Discretionary Sanctions covering US politics, and also Community sanctions covering Covid-19. You can see the sanctions applicable to the article listed at Talk:Plandemic. I see you have been edit warring to make substantial changes to the that article, after having been reverted. Please stop doing that, start a discussion, and seek consensus at the article talk page instead. If you try to force your desired changes in without getting a prior consensus, you could be sanctioned under these Discretionary Sanctions, or simply blocked for edit warring. The mw:Anti-Harassment Tools team is running a usability test to find out how and where IP addresses are used when patrolling wikis, particularly when patrolling RecentChanges.
