Voting in the 2022 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 12 December 2022. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate in the 2022 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add What is this about? You added in regards to my comment the wording "The distinction you're making is often cited in patriot/2nd amendment type circles and discussions..." which, by seemingly purposeful innduendo, you seem to be tying my comment to. You asked on your user page to let you know when you've made a mistake, this is one. I am not a member of any circle or group of patriots or "2nd amendment types", but had made a statement in my own words which you've now tried to twist, in good faith or not, to fit a narrative. Please strike or remove those from your statement, thanks. Randy Kryn (talk) 14:24, 16 February 2023 (UTC)

I can't speak for GN, but.......no criticism intended on my part. I'm mostly just screwing around and laughing at the truth of GN's comment. I wasn't thinking or talking about anyone in particular. I've long thought that experienced editors should be able to quietly and efficiently remove obviously zero-chance case requests, as a courtesy to save the OP the torrent of criticism that awaits them, but that has always been frowned upon by the powers that be. DYK for Michael DennenyOn 9 June 2023, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Michael Denneny, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that in 1987, Michael Denneny started Stonewall Inn Editions at St. Martin's Press, the first LGBT trade paperback imprint at a major publishing house? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Michael Denneny. You are welcome to check how many pageviews the nominated article or articles got while on the front page (here's how, Michael Denneny), and the hook may be added to the statistics page after its run on the Main Page has completed. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page. SmallCat dispute case openedYou recently offered a statement in a request for arbitration. The Arbitration Committee has accepted that request for arbitration and an arbitration case has been opened at Wikipedia:Arbitration/Requests/Case/SmallCat dispute. Evidence that you wish the arbitrators to consider should be added to the evidence subpage, at Wikipedia:Arbitration/Requests/Case/SmallCat dispute/Evidence. Please add your evidence by August 4, 2023, which is when the evidence phase closes. You can also contribute to the case workshop subpage, Wikipedia:Arbitration/Requests/Case/SmallCat dispute/Workshop. I don't know how to respond to your incorrect assessment.
The above assessment of the situation is wrong, the TurningHearts character seems to be from Wikitree. And I have yet to see a single editor who did not make an edit who was not personally invested. I have been around on wikipedia since the beginning of time and even trivial edits often have people saying the same thing. If an editor digs in on information provided then people like you come by to attack in a direct an personal way with zero accountability. Applying WP:NOTHERE, WP:SPA, WP:MEATPUPPET, WP:ANI the alphabet soup of rules has a chilling effect on contributions by everyone and again silences others who do not conform to your social click. I would have contributed a lot over the years if it were not for a rude response like this that has been received on any of my edit's. They seem self serving because indigenous and black people editing pages will have a personal and vested interest in the topic. Just like those of English culture have a vested interest in silencing those who do not give out the white person handshake of authoritarian acceptance. We know when we are being oppressed by the rule lawyers. Rules are important but when you combine them with insult that is when we can tell your objectives are also stepping over the line. You did not even acknowledge the flurry of edits that came in shortly after my one contribution that basically obliterated the contribution. Again Belle Fast and I were agreeing, I didn't attack anyone. Your interpretation is so off i can't even sort it out. You need the let the text speak for itself without your slanted "attack" like interpretation. Deathmolor (talk) 22:03, 4 August 2023 (UTC)

Women in RedHi there, DIYeditor, and welcome to Women in Red. I see you have already created a few biographies of women and look forward to many more. While you are already an experienced editor, if you have not already done so, you might find it useful to look at some of our essays, perhaps starting with the Primer. If you would like others to see your interest in this project, you should sign up under "New registrations" on Wikipedia:WikiProject Women in Red/New members. While your contributions are appreciated, I wanted to let you know that I've started a discussion about whether an article that you created, Foundational Black Americans, should be deleted, as I am not sure that it is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia in its current form. Your comments are welcome at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Foundational Black Americans. Deletion discussions usually run for seven days and are not votes. Our guide about effectively contributing to such discussions is worth a read. The most common issue in these discussions is notability, but it's not the only aspect that may be discussed; read the nomination and any other comments carefully before you contribute to the discussion. Last but not least, you are highly encouraged to continue improving the article; just be sure not to remove the tag about the deletion nomination from the top.
