As the article explains, it is a casual (slang) corruption. Maybe you weren't familiar with the Perfume track "Daijobanai" (see [1]), but please be be careful about removing details just because you don't know about them. --DAJF (talk) 05:42, 17 January 2016 (UTC)
The text does actually explain that while "daijobanai" is possible and sometimes seen, "daijonda" is not (...it is not otherwise conjugated, for example as *daijo-nda). Do you see? Warabitai Station
Hi Dave, just a quick note on Warabitai Station article where you reverted my edits. I just wanted to note that I was merely providing a quick translation of the Japanese version of the Wikipedia article into English; the original text being, "当駅は、JRの駅を五十音順に並べたとき最後になる。"; of course this seems to note only "JR Stations". Hi. If you can provide a source for that, we could re-add it, but is that claim significant in an English-language article where the Japanese "gojuon" order doesn't have much significance? Using Japanese Wikipedia articles as a source of possible information to include in articles is great, but you have to be careful about simply translating text without adding sources, as Japanese Wikipedia is not infallible, and I often come across errors and inaccuracies that are not supported by reliable third-party sources. --DAJF (talk) 03:28, 29 January 2016 (UTC)

We are allowed to use Japanese sources to reference English language articles if the subject matter is Japan related and its reliable and relevant right? i just wanted to know for the future. In answer to your question, there is generally no problem in using non-English language sources to verify details in English Wikipedia articles, and Japanese language sources will often be the only ones available for articles about Japanese subjects. Tomoharu Katsumata - Ginga: Nagareboshi Gin
Ok.
So you removed my adding about Ginga: Nagareboshi Gin from Tomoharu Katsumata's page because of missing a citation or do you mean a quotation? Anyway there's no need for such a thing! If you go to the Ginga: Nagareboshi Gin wikipedia page, you can clearly see that it says Tomoharu Katsumata as a director in the anime television series section. You don't have to add all quotations or citations always if there's already a whole wikipedia page about it. Those other series doesn't have a citation either, why don't you remove them? There's an imdb and Anime news network added in the reference section, and that's really only what it needs. Also.. if you mean about "most notable" that needs a citation, Ginga: Nagareboshi Gin - anime has been a very big thing in the Nordic countries since 1989 and it was a very notable popular in Japan also in 1986. Many praised as a masterpiece of Katsumata's work even in Japan. Watch it if you don't believe. So.. if you need to just remove a citation, why don't you just remove the "most notable" if you are skeptical about the popularity. Hi. Yes, you guessed correctly: I removed it because the subjective claim that it was "most notable" was unsourced. Please remember that the onus to source statements lies with the editor that adds them (see WP:BURDEN), so just saying "you can look it up on Google" is unfortunately not a valid response. If you have time, please try and add sources for some of the other statements in that article too, as neither imdb and Anime News are really reliable sources for a biographical article about a living person. --DAJF (talk) 11:49, 8 February 2016 (UTC)
No. I didn't say "most notable". I said "one" of the most notable. There's a big difference about that. Some interesting trivia about Ginga: Nagareboshi Gin: I have the DVD box made in Japan saying director Tomoharu Katsumata along with a DVD box published in Finland which are realiable sources. In 2003 Finland became the first ever Western country to publish the fully uncut version (1989 VHS-versions were heavily cut because of too much blood and gore for children with quite bad audio-dub) with original Japanese audio and translated subtitles. I really don't have time to link all the information in the wikipedia page. Anyway.. the way you put it now is OK. Just keep in mind that Ginga: Nagareboshi Gin must be mentioned in the Tomoharu Katsumata's article because it really is his most known work in the Western countries and I don't mean only Nordic countries. Tobu Railway Noda Line Comment
I believe that per the news release made by Tobu Railway, [2], the name "Tobu Urban Park Line" was only created as a nickname (路線愛称名) of the line on April 1, 2014; and the official name of the line still remains the Tobu Noda Line, as reflected on the Tobu home page (

Hi. That's interesting, as all official signage is now universally "Tobu Urban Park Line", and anything mentioning "Noda Line" has effectively been removed from the public eye. Note that "nickname" is not always an accurate translation of "愛称名", and in this case "common name" or even "branding" would probably be more accurate. Hello. I am Hippojunior5. Thank you for your message. I am a beginner of using (editing) Wikipedia, so I am sorry for not having added the proper citation. The resource which I read was here: todo-ran.com/ts/kiji/10132 (in Japanese) It says the first shop was opened in 1971 in Minoo, Osaka. Also, it says that, as of 2015, the total number of the shops is 1,294.

I'm not entirely sure how reliable the source you mention is, but I have added the opening date of the first Japanese outlet to the article - sourced to the official website. Unfortunately the other changes you made to the article, such as the date the franchise was acquired by Duskin, contradicted the reliable source already quoted, so that was why they had to be undone. Also, it says that in 1971 the second outlet (the first franchised store) opened in 京橋 (kyoobashi),Osaka.

Thanks, I've updated the article to indicate that the first outlet was opened in Minoh. Note that 1983 is the year Duskin acquired the rights to franchise Mister Donut throughout Japan and Asia. Probably you are right about what to do or not to do in the Wikipedia, but I see the Wikipedia as an effort to organize the whole Internet, selecting the best stuff from other sites.
I found Mr Saito's article in a link of the Wikipedia, and maybe my translation will become a reference for the Spanish article on Japanese railways... Who knows.
So I want to contact Mr Saito ASAP because he must be quite old, if he still lives...
Asking for help here seemed sensible, since there is someone here that values his work as highly as me.

You could if you want to, but did you actually look at the IP's edits that were reverted? They removed the little boxes next to the line names, but kept the code that assigns colours to them. If you think Wikipedia is improved if it has colours assigned to empty spaces, then go right ahead and revert DAJF. I wouldn't expect such a change to last long though... But this is what I do know, digging up 3RR violations from 9 months ago and issuing "warnings" about it is not going to help you. It makes you look petty and desperate to make DAJF look bad. Hi, I noticed your removal of my addition to the Sagamihara stabbings page. You removed where I added "...committed on Japanese soil..." Why? It's much less accurate to not include that, as the statement redirects to another page about stabbings on Japanese territory. Not to mention, frankly, it's offensive to name that as "one of the worst attacks in modern Japanese history," because it basically compares it to the mass murder of Chinese people by the Japanese. Thank you.

It was not actually my intention to remove the "...committed on Japanese soil..." statement you added, and it looks like I just missed it because our edits overlapped by a matter of seconds. I have restored your wording in this edit just now. Looking at it again, it might be more elegant to rephrase it as "committed on Japanese soil in modern history", as having two occurrences of "Japanese" in close succession looks somewhat redundant, but I'll leave that for you or another editor to tweak if necessary. Question about blocking
Recently, I heard that an IP user was edit-warring and was considered disruptive. Following that, the pages they were doing that on got semi-protected. Due to that issue, I have two questions to you regarding that issue:
Will I get blocked if I edit-war on a non-protected page?
Will I get blocked if I disruptiveIy edit a semi-protected page?

In answer to your questions, edit-warring or editing disruptively on any page is a pretty sure way to get yourself blocked, regardless of whether the page is protected or not. I've updated Aya Hirano's article with sourcing for the discography and the filmography. I believe this should make it meet B-class as it was missing item 5 about supporting materials. @AngusWOOF: Hi. I'm not sure whether it is a specific requirement, but I personally would be reluctant to upgrade the assessment to "B" before the article includes a photo of the person. @Lucia kwon: Hi. Unfortunately your revert reintroduced unsourced biographical details including his claimed "real name" (which is contradicted by the Japanese Wikipedia article). I have left a warning on your talk page, but I would suggest you re-read through the guidelines at WP:BLP, as repeatedly adding controversial unsourced claims to biographical articles could lead to losing your editing privileges.
