User talk:D.j.athertonMP Official PhotoHi, and welcome to Wikipedia! Regarding your enquiry on my talk page, I reverted your recent good faith edits to Peter Bottomley to the previous version with his official parliamentary portrait. His portrait can be found in the Category:Official United Kingdom Parliamentary photographs 2017 at Wikimedia Commons, which can be seen here. All official photos of British MPs in Wikipedia articles that I have seen are from this category. If you think there is a good reason to add your image to Peter Bottomley's article, you can do it with the correct format by simply adding the name of the image file followed immediately by ".jpg" (or .svg, .jpeg etc., depending of the image format), such as "Sir Peter Bottomley MP.jpg" (not "[[File:Sir Peter Bottomley MP.jpg|thumb|Portrait of Sir Peter Bottomley MP]]" — thumbnails are for images outside the infobox only). But before doing that, please crop out the blank grey section at the bottom of your image, then re-upload your image by clicking on Upload a new version of this file under the File history section here. Thanks! JACKINTHEBOX • TALK 15:29, 9 July 2018 (UTC)

The fact was ... that John Deane and his crew of the Nottingham Galley cannibalised in desperation the ship's deceased carpenter when the ship wrecked on Boon Island in 1710? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/John Deane (sailor). You are welcome to check how many page hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, John Deane (sailor)), and it may be added to the statistics page if the total is over 5,000. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page. — Maile (talk) 00:03, 29 September 2019 (UTC) ArbCom 2019 election voter messageDisambiguation link notification for July 17An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Wilford, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Abel Smith and Samuel Smith (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver).
