User talk:Cst17/Archive2I've declined your speedy as it's not covered by A7. It's an album, and the band does have an article, so that's another CSD cat out of the window. However... It does say 'copyright Atlantic Records' at the end, so it's probably a copyvio, and may not be notable in itself anyway. I'd advise prod for notability, with a rider of suspected copyvio - and see if you can find the thing in the meantime... Peridon (talk) 19:31, 6 April 2012 (UTC)

Speedy deletion declined: Rina LorillaHello Cst17. I am just letting you know that I declined the speedy deletion of Rina Lorilla, a page you tagged for speedy deletion, because of the following concern: The article is not substantially the same as the deleted version. A new deletion discussion is required. Thank you. — Malik Shabazz Talk/Stalk 01:08, 21 May 2012 (UTC) 196.44.146.4196.44.146.4 (talk · contribs) is either a very confused newbie or a tr@ll. :-( - 220 of Borg 13:14, 21 May 2012 (UTC)

Is the rule being applied hard & fast?Hi Cst17, 'http://www.frenchriverland.com/byron_mccoy.htm' is an informative history of Francis Turbines (with excellent illustrations) and doesn't advertise 'frenchriverland.com'. Is the rule being applied hard & fast? How can one get around it? Thanks, TBond (talk) 07:35, 25 May 2012 (UTC)
Thanks for advice. TBond (talk) 08:42, 25 May 2012 (UTC) Robin McgeeYou reverted an article blanking on Robin Mcgee but the blanking editor was also the creator. As it was already a BLP of concern and a PROD I believe it should be allowed to die so I have speedied it with a G7. Regards Velella Velella Talk 19:46, 29 May 2012 (UTC)

Edit to Aztlan. The lines edited in Aztlan, which were deleted were unproven opinions, and the "sources" were all opinions, based on the sources agenda, none of it was based on facts. The matter needs to be removed from the dicussion of Aztlan, because it is not fact. The fact is, the land being referred to in the popular usage of the word "Aztlan" (by activists, here in the USA, primarily), has nothing to do with the Aztec, and the maps used to illustrate "Aztlan" are not maps of any place called "Aztlan", nor are they maps of any Aztec tribe. The Aztec did not even call themselves "Aztec", the Spanish called them that. The Aztec tribe did not draw maps, the Aztec tribe did not populate any vast area in what is now the USA. The Aztec empire existed down in what is now southeast Mexico, and had nothing at all to do with the tribes which are indigenous to the Southwest and western USA. Hundreds of Native American tribes populated the Southwest and West (USA) and none of them were Aztec. The Ute were not "Aztec", if they had been they would not call themselves "Ute" today, and Utah would be called "Mexicah", it is not, because the Ute are not Aztec/Mexica. These fairy tales being posted as "fact" based on someones opinion need to be removed. Just because someone once thought the Mexica/Aztec originated somewhere does not make it worthy of being posted as a fact, when it is just opinion. Also it needs to be pointed out that the tribes that lived in what is now the US southwest were not "Aztec", and their homelands were not "Aztec" land. Also that the maps used to promote this nonsense are Spanish maps not "Aztec" maps, illustrating Spanish land claims (not necessarily explorations), and the Spanish were certainly not claiming the lands for a tribe way down in Mexico that they tried to wipe off the face of the earth. Using Spanish maps of the land they stole from the Native American tribes, to illustrate a made up fiction, intending to lay claim to that land under the name of a tribe that did not live here, is ludicrous, and it needs to be made clear. There is no map of "Aztlan", because nobody even knows where it was supposed to be. I removed fiction and opinion, they have no place masquerading as "fact" here. — Preceding unsigned comment added by CheyenneZ (talk • contribs) 16:28, 27 December 2012 (UTC) Gunter Guillameis dead dead dead, and therefore the biographies of living persons policy does not apply to him — Preceding unsigned comment added by 121.220.19.66 (talk) 08:45, 11 January 2013 (UTC) =Thank YouThanks for telling me about the sandbox and i am sorry for vandalisingTankman98 (talk) 10:21, 5 February 2013 (UTC) Pete SamprasSampras's first name isn't Peter. Speedy deletion nomination of Kashmirbox
A tag has been placed on Kashmirbox requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person, organization (band, club, company, etc.), web content or organised event, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable. If you think that your page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the page be "userfied" or emailed to you.
