Welcome to WikipediaI couldn't help but notice that you've been creating articles on London Buses. A while ago there were people trying to delete all of these. Myself and the other member of WikiProject London Transport were able to keep the articles at a high enough quality to allow them to stay. I created User:web_kai2000/London Buses route layout to ensure that this quality was maintained, so please don't be offended if people try to delete the ones you create or turn them into redirects. If you need any more help in this subject, just leave a message on my talk page. --sonicKAI 01:53, 1 March 2007 (UTC) Deleted articleA tag has been placed on Thick lipped gourami, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. If you plan to expand the article, you can request that administrators wait a while for you to add contextual material. To do this, affix the template London Bus articlesThese are the things that I want you to do:

How to create the infoboxThank you. How do i creat a London bus route Infobox and add pictures.CourtneyBonnick 20:57, 6 March 2007 (UTC)
categoriesIn order to add a bus article to its category, you must add Category:London bus routes. It doesn't work by editing the category itself. Bus routes infoboxesCourtney, you are still creating bus route articles without properly including the infoboxes. Please do not just cut and paste the contents of one article into another. For example look at London Buses route 237 and see how you have ugly extra information like "length" and "image" in the infobox? Now edit the article, see how your infobox code looks like this: {| class="infobox" style="width: 29em;" |+ style="font-size: large;" | 237 !colspan="2" align="center" | {image} |- ! colspan="2" bgcolor="#FF0000" | <font color="#FFFFFF">Management |- |Operated by || Metroline |- |Garage || Brentford |- |Vehicle || Dennis Trident 2 9.9m / Alexander ALX400 |- |Peak vehicle requirement || 22 |- ! colspan="2" bgcolor="#FF0000" | <font color="#FFFFFF">Route |- |Start || Hounslow Heath |- |Via || Hounslow Brentford Kew Bridge Turnham Green Chiswick Stamford Brook |- |End || Shepherd's Bush Green |- |Length || {length} |- ! colspan="2" bgcolor="#FF0000" | <font color="#FFFFFF">Service |- |Level || {level} |- |Frequency || About every 8-12 minites |- |Journey time || {time} |- |Night || N9 between Stamford Brook and Hpunslow |- ! colspan="2" bgcolor="#FF0000" | <font color="#FFFFFF">Adult single fares |- |Oyster || £1.00 |- |Cash || £2.00 |- !colspan="2" bgcolor="#efefef" align="center" | <small>Transport for London</small> |} Compare this to the article London Buses route E6 which I fixed for you. Edit that page and look at how the infobox is created: This is how the infobox should be created when you edit a page. Similarly instead of using History as a section header, you should use ==History==. These formatting commands are important as they result in a consistent appearance of articles and stop you getting ugly missing fields in the infobox. For more information about formatting articles, please read the manual of style. Please also go back and fix up the bus route articles you have already created before you create more ones. Many thanks, Gwernol 21:16, 9 March 2007 (UTC) Hello, saw your post on asperger's discussion. Aspies are known for their creativity, intelligence, different and fresh perspectives. Hans Asperger, the guy who started the whole thing, actually said that Aspies are *more likely* to be successful in the arts and sciences. Straight from the horses mouth : ‘To our own amazement, we have seen that autistic individuals, as long as they are intellectually intact, can almost always achieve professional success, usually in highly specialized academic professions, often in very high positions, with a preference for abstract content. We found a large number of people whose mathematical ability determines their professions; mathematicians, technologists, industrial chemists and high-ranking civil servants.’ Asperger H. Die ‘autischen Psychopathen’ im Kindesalter. Arch Psychiatrie Nervenkrankheiten 1944;17: 76-136. And ... ‘It seems that for success in science or art a dash of autism is essential. For success the necessary ingredients may be an ability to turn away from the everyday world, from the simple practical, an ability to rethink a subject with originality so as to create in new untrodden ways, with all abilities canalised into the one speciality’. - Hans Asperger http://www.pubmedcentral.nih.gov/articlerender.fcgi?artid=539373 And Asperger should know, it's his disorder after all :) A lot of writers with Asperger's too. Raul654 (talk) 03:38, 11 February 2008 (UTC) I got involved in London Buses by accident when a user was trying to insert the 'ibus' logo along with the number in the 'Infobox London Bus' template. This disrupted the reading of that field by the template to connect to the related Performance.pdf file. I fixed that by the addition of another parameter for active ibus routes that only displays the logo with the number (see London Buses route 482) if 'ibus=yes' is entered. Similarly what you have done in this article, by combining the two numbers, is also to disable that same function. The only way out is to divide the article again. To see what I mean, quickly edit, preview and test with only one number - and it works. Could you please let other editors know about this, as I am not a part of the group. You appear to be engaged in an edit war with one or more editors according to your reverts at Thomas & Friends. Although repeatedly reverting or undoing another editor's contributions may seem necessary to protect your preferred version of a page, on Wikipedia this is usually seen as obstructing the normal editing process, and often creates animosity between editors. Instead of edit warring, please try to reach a consensus on the talk page. If editors continue to revert to their preferred version they are likely to be blocked from editing. This isn't done to punish an editor, but to prevent the disruption caused by edit warring. In particular, editors should be aware of the three-revert rule, which says that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. While edit warring on Wikipedia is not acceptable in any amount, breaking the three-revert rule is very likely to lead to a block. Thank you. SMS Talk 21:29, 30 November 2012 (UTC) December 2012 You have been blocked temporarily from editing for edit warring. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. I'm not going to get into an edit war with you, and if you insist on the page remaining like that, then so be it. However, to be clear, in film-making, live action and animation are two different things. It's important to note that the early episodes were largely NOT animation; they were live action filming of models. And the 1990s lionel toys of Thomas and James also were relased with the "As seen on Shining Time Station" logo printed on their original box. I don't see why they shouldn't be mentioned. I notice you've also been reverting a lot of this IP's changes - in your case to Thomas and Friends articles, in my case to various EastEnders and other articles (Agatha Christie, classic British TV comedies). Whoever it is seems to be trying to smuggle incorrect information, mostly dates, in with seemingly valid edits. Please could you consider warning this IP next time you see this? It would be much appreciated. Cheers, Stephenb (Talk) 08:29, 15 August 2013 (UTC) TransportHi. I'm a bit puzzled by your removal of the bus routes from the Hadley Wood article - especially as the article history shows that it was you who first added them. You are correct that Wikipedia is not a travel website, which is why we don't offer suggestions on routes, sights, connections, or how friendly Bob the driver is. However, notes about the transport infrastructure are a normal part of "places" articles, from nations to hamlets. In the case of nations, there is usually a separate article ("Transport in...."), but for cities, towns, and other communities it is usually a section within the main article. It is usual to list railway stations, metro stations, tram routes, and bus routes - as you will see in hundreds of other examples, apart from Hadley Wood. If you want to remove all references to bus routes in community articles I think you will need to start a discussion, and look for consensus. Timothy Titus Talk To TT 15:37, 23 August 2013 (UTC)

Your use of multiple Wikipedia accountsHi. An editor has opened an investigation into sockpuppetry by you. Sockpuppetry is the use of more than one Wikipedia account in a manner that contravenes community policy. The investigation is being held at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/CourtneyBonnick, where the editor who opened the investigation has presented their evidence. Please make sure you make yourself familiar with the guide to responding to investigations, and then feel free to offer your own evidence or to submit comments that you wish to be considered by the Wikipedia administrator who decides the result of the investigation. If you have been using multiple accounts (in a manner contrary to Wikipedia policy), please go to the investigation page and verify that now. Leniency is usually shown to those who promise not to do so again, or who did so unwittingly, but the abuse of multiple accounts is taken very seriously by the Wikipedia community. aycliffetalk 15:35, 1 September 2013 (UTC) September 2013 You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war. London Buses route E1Before we find ourselves in an edit war... "The H in Alexander Dennis EnviroE400H stands for hybrid so there no reason to say it's a hybrid." Well, not everyone will know immediately that the 'H' stands for hybrid. The same can be said for the Volvo B5LH. Plus, even though the number of hybrid double-deckers in London is increasing, I'm fairly sure that the number of ordinary diesel double-deckers is still greater... "The reason why it says Alexander Dennis Enviro400 double-deckers is to point out that they are double deckers." I'm sorry, but I still don't see a need to explicitly point out that they are double-deckers when they replaced double-deckers. I'd only see a need if they replaced single-deckers (in other words, if the route was converted from full or partial single-deck operation to full double-deck operation at that time). But they didn't (IOW, it wasn't), so I don't. Finally, am I not allowed to use anything that might be interpreted as "bus enthusiast speak" when editing any article on a London bus route or operator? I wanted to discuss this with one of the common contributors in London geography articles, and have found you. I am proposing to move Wembley to Wembley, London. The reason is simply because Wembley is better known all around the country for the Stadium, perhaps the Arena, but not the district itself. Wembley Stadium for example is commonly called just 'Wembley' by the media and society. I therefore think Wembley area article should be moved to Wembley, London, and the Wembley article should afterwards be the disambiguation (or maybe redirect to the Stadium, though that would be unlikely from my POV). I also think Harrow should be the other way round: Harrow, London, to be moved to Harrow. The reason is because the Harrow disambiguation article mostly consists of entries related to the Harrow town in London, and very little of other topics. Also Harrow is one of the metropolitan centres according to the London Plan, so that shows it is a major town and well-known. Therefore, Harrow, London should move to just Harrow, and the present Harrow article should be turned into Harrow (disambiguation). I would like to get your views on this matter. You may put this on a talk page to let others join the discussion. --TransportJone (talk) 15:03, 9 June 2014 (UTC)
External linksNotice you have deleted the external links from a couple of the London bus route articles on the basis that they are from self published sites. Agree with removing the timetable link from the londonbusroutes.net site, as this was self published. However the replacement was from tfl.gov.uk [8] which I believe complies with WP:ELYES. It also provides a source for the Service details in the Infobox and the Current route section. Presume you have removed the gallery on the basis that it fails WP:FANSITE. Reading through WP:EL, don't believe any policy is breached by including. The reason for including is that it offers a more diverse range of images over a longer period of time than available in the commons galleries, most of which only focus on the present or very recent past. Not sure why you are so adamant these must go, but if are adamant that it cannot be included, can you please refrain from using LondonBusroutes as a cite, as this is definately a Fansite. Likewise all the uncited bus types will have to go from operator pages. Myksave (talk) 19:28, 8 September 2014 (UTC)
