PiGuy3 (talk) 03:17, 12 November 2023 (UTC) Tagging pages for speedy deletionHello, Comintell, Wikipedia has very specific and limited criteria that are used for tagging pages for speedy deletion. Editors can't just make up their own reasons. You can present an argument with Proposed deletions and Article for Deletion discussions but that's not how speedy deletion works. You have to select among criteria for which one, if any applies to a page. I encourage you to review Criteria for Speedy Deletion so you are more familiar with what the criteria are, when they apply and to which namespaces a criteria applies. Once you know the criteria very well, then feel free to use Twinkle to tag inappropriate pages for deletion. But if you need to provide an explanation for why an article or page should be deleted, then PRODs and deletion discussions are the route you should take. If you have questions about the variety of different deletion processes on Wikipedia, please bring them to the Teahouse. Thank you. Liz Read! Talk! 03:33, 12 November 2023 (UTC)
Deletion discussion about Jasper AIHello Comintell, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. While your contributions are appreciated, I wanted to let you know that I've started a discussion about whether an article that you created, Jasper AI, should be deleted, as I am not sure that it is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia in its current form. Your comments are welcome at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Jasper AI. Deletion discussions usually run for seven days and are not votes. Our guide about effectively contributing to such discussions is worth a read. The most common issue in these discussions is notability, but it's not the only aspect that may be discussed; read the nomination and any other comments carefully before you contribute to the discussion. Last but not least, you are highly encouraged to continue improving the article; just be sure not to remove the tag about the deletion nomination from the top. If you have any questions, please leave a comment here and prepend it with (Message delivered via the Page Curation tool, on behalf of the reviewer.) CNMall41 (talk) 05:30, 14 November 2023 (UTC)

Jasper AI articleHello Comintell, I wanted to write you a friendly greeting and welcome you to Wikipedia because I've made some major changes the article you created, Jasper AI. I made my edits very WP:BOLDly, but you should feel free to continue making your own improvements. I am also happy to answer any questions you might have about my edits. If you want to keep working on the article, it would be especially valuable, I think, to try to remove that "further reading" section: "further reading" is usually used to list books or major journal articles about a topic, things that are more detailed than Wikipedia but therefore useful for a very serious reader. It's not usually a section for "potential article sources that didn't get used." The best way to get rid of that section would be to go through the links and see if you can integrate information from them into the article (e.g., supporting a new detail). That TechRadar review, for example, could probably support a few sentences about Jasper's features/strengths/weaknesses in the "Technology" section. If there's nothing new to add and the source isn't a really high-quality newspaper, it can just be deleted. It can take a while to find your footing at Wikipedia, but I hope you stick around and enjoy yourself! Happy editing! ~ L 🌸 (talk) 06:02, 19 November 2023 (UTC)

A tag has been placed on Darren Harris (law enforcement officer) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a real person or group of people that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable. If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. About [[1]]Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you tried to give https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eco_Yosemite_Park a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into ECO YOSEMITE PARK. This is known as a "cut-and-paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is legally required for attribution. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history. In most cases for registered users, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page (the tab may be hidden in a dropdown menu for you). This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other pages that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Requests for history merge. Thank you. Introduction to contentious topicsYou have recently edited a page related to articles about living or recently deceased people, and edits relating to the subject (living or recently deceased) of such biographical articles, a topic designated as contentious. This is a brief introduction to contentious topics and does not imply that there are any issues with your editing. A special set of rules applies to certain topic areas, which are referred to as contentious topics. These are specially designated topics that tend to attract more persistent disruptive editing than the rest of the project and have been designated as contentious topics by the Arbitration Committee. When editing a contentious topic, Wikipedia’s norms and policies are more strictly enforced, and Wikipedia administrators have special powers in order to reduce disruption to the project. Within contentious topics, editors should edit carefully and constructively, refrain from disrupting the encyclopedia, and:
Editors are advised to err on the side of caution if unsure whether making a particular edit is consistent with these expectations. If you have any questions about contentious topics procedures you may ask them at the arbitration clerks' noticeboard or you may learn more about this contentious topic here. Comintell (block log • active blocks • global blocks • contribs • deleted contribs • filter log • creation log • change block settings • unblock • checkuser (log)) Request reason: Hello, at first I had no idea why this was, as I have never operated any other accounts. But upon looking at the evidence I do recall something. There were two users, I can't recall the names (this was a few months ago), who were on the Wikipedia Discord, saying that a subject of an article was being discriminated against for being asian, and were canvasing for votes on the simplewikipedia. I did not at the time realize this was against policy, so after conducting what I thought was a reveiw of the subject, cast a vote. Then, I was messaged by a now deleted discord user, who said that they saw I had an AfC submission and accepted it, and that they also accepted an AfC for the person I voted in a simple wikipedia article for, and thanked me for "standing up against discrimination." Once their AfC acceptance got flagged for deletetion, they reached out to me asking me to vote, and said "you obviously know this person is notable, and is just being discriminated against." I was feeling manipulated at this point, and was hesitant, but I also felt like I owed this person something for accepting my draft? I had an off feeling about all of this, and I made a mistake here, but I was absolutely manipulated by these two (possibly same) people. I am not a sock puppet. I now get that this could be considered meat puppetry but it was not intentional. I put so much time and effort into wikipedia and I've argued before and edit warred, but have never received payment for my edits. If this constitutes as a ban, I understand, and no matter how sad/defeating it is, will take responsibility for allowing myself to get manipulated, but as an editor with just over 9 months of experience, I am hoping this can be investigated further and the decision reconsidered. If my ban is overturned, I will take extra caution to make sure I never allow myself to be manipulated ever again. I thought that these people were trying to be my friends, but they were just using and manipulating me. Decline reason: Given the extensive notes at CU wiki, there is clearly something nefarious going on with this account across multiple platforms.Ponyobons mots 22:08, 29 August 2024 (UTC) If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. Hello, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. A page you created or have recently made significant changes to, Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff Station, may not conform to some of Wikipedia's guidelines for pages, so it has been blanked and redirected to Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department. Three typical reasons for this are that: (1) the article's subject appears to fail our notability guidelines; (2) the article is unsourced; or (3) the sources used in the article are unreliable. The page's history is preserved and it is possible to restore the article: If you believe that this page should remain included on Wikipedia or that this action was taken in error, then you may revert the edit that blanked and redirected the page.
