I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question and then place Hi. I'm afraid I'm not really interested in an interview (parents were journalists, made me promise never to get into the business ;). I would be very interested in seeing the finished piece though. Drop me a line with a (non-reg-req!) link when it's out. Thanks :) Standard {{welcome}} template above. Let me know if I can help with anything non-logo/article related. --Quiddity 00:35, 22 June 2007 (UTC)
Good job on writing the referenced stub Galen Cranz. I always encourage new users to Be Bold and do the best they can making Wikipedia a better place, and you did just that! Congratulations, and if you ever need any help, feel free to leave me a message here or on my talk page, Sadads (talk) 19:42, 14 February 2011 (UTC) UsernameYour user page says, "This is Noam's user page on Wikipedia." and according to the edit history has since December 2007. Wikipedia's username policy states in part: "Do not register a username that includes the name of an identifiable living person unless it is your real name. This includes implying a relationship with another person. If you share a name with a well-known person, you need to make it clear that you are not the well-known person of that name." The combination of the assertion on your user page and your username seem to imply you might be the well-known person Noam Chomsky. Could you please disclose your relationship to that well-known person, if any? Gacurr (talk) 02:37, 6 June 2011 (UTC)
Re: UsernameNo connection to Professor Chomsky. I am Noam Cohen, see: http://topics.nytimes.com/topics/reference/timestopics/people/c/noam_cohen/index.html. Sorry for the confusion. chomsky1 (talk) 00:08, 9 June 2011 (UTC)
InterviewsAlthough I'm flattered by the request, I don't communicate with Wikipedia people by e-mail or phone. If you can come on IRC, perhaps we can talk a bit. DS (talk) 00:04, 3 May 2012 (UTC)
Thanks, but currently, I am avoiding communication with Wikipedia people by e-mail. Thanks. RogerYg (talk) 06:21, 15 December 2024 (UTC) Disambiguation link notification for February 13Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Lynn Townsend White, Jr., you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page AAAS (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject. I wanted to let you know that I’m proposing an article that you started, Rick Lowe, for deletion because it's a biography of a living person that lacks references. If you don't want Rick Lowe to be deleted, please add a reference to the article. If you don't understand this message, you can leave a note on my talk page. Are you aware of the discussion at the Administrative Noticeboard where several editors seem to address your question? A change to Wikipedia's software has made your current custom signature incompatible with the software. The problem: Your preferences are set to interpret your custom signature as wikitext. However, your current custom signature does not contain any wikitext. The solutions: You can reset your signature to the default, or you can fix your signature.
More information about custom signatures is available at Wikipedia:Signatures#Customizing how everyone sees your signature.
