Hello, this is sreerajarasa (talk) Sorry for replying late about you inquiring the authenticity of Deepika Padukone Pic uploaded by me. I will be very happy to provide you a larger version of the pic along with the date and place where the photo was taken. But since it's my private photo of my friends wedding I cannot just share with anyone and everyone. So it's a humble request that could you please testify your role in Wikipedia admin group?? If not, then I will only send a very very low resolution version of the full pic since it wouldn't be fair on my friends part sharing a high quality pic of his wedding. Image uploads

Hello, your Image:Chindjovo 006.jpg doesn't really look as if you took it yourself, it seems to be a picture postcard or something. Can you clarify please? Note that "self-made" licensing may only be used for images that you created completely yourself (i.e. you are the photographer). Fut.Perf. ☼ 11:56, 3 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hmm, in that case, we'll probably have to take your word for it. Then, congratulations, as it's really a very nice photograph. If you don't mind, it would actually be great if you could upload a high-resolution version, and preferably one without the black frame. Kosovo

Hi Soft needed! In order to avoid endless edit wars, the article International reaction to the 2008 Kosovo declaration of independence has been rather strict about which countries to list as having formally recognized Kosovo. I understand that Bulgaria, Croatia and Hungary have not yet formally recognized Kosovo, but will do so within the next 24 hours. Heh, that website can be uploaded on a thousand places. The information is not copyrighted or is, but free distribution is allowed. In that sense I could design some nice interface, copy the contents and upload the website on a nice server with nice domain name. Does this make the book reliable source? Former toponyms

Thanks for the great effort! I am creating articles on the Bulgarian Wikipedia about most of the villages. I combine the new/old name and geodata with historical Bulgarian sources, especially Vasil Kanchov's works, and the articles get nice. Take for one example Ракищен. Using questionable sources in History of Microsoft Windows

I am concerned that you have used unreliable sources in a Wikipedia article: The source that you have used in this edit has provided no evidence for the credibility of its assertion; and by itself, it does not have a longstanding history of publishing accurate information.

Your source says that it is citing from a developer's forum; however, it has provided no link to that forum. Besides, forums are not always reliable sources; everyone can call himself "Bill Gates" or "Steve Ballmer" when he or she registers in a forum.Beyond all these, if Microsoft CEO wanted to announce any release date, he would do so in Microsoft News Center website, not in a questionable seedy forum to which no link exists.

If you wish to reinstate your edit, I advise you to act per Wikipedia:BOLD, revert, discuss cycle and discuss the issue in talk page.

Ottoman atlas

Under your contribution map of the republic of Tamras, you state that you used as a source a 1899 ottoman map (re)published at a work of Heath Lowry. Do you happen to know which book this is, is the map detailed?Japetusgr (talk) 15:32, 19 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I don't know exactly where it is published - I have it scanned. It is very detailed showing even the paths in the forests. The Austrian Map of 1910/11 is based on it but with less detail. I can sand it to you, or a part of it, but it is too large file size. If you happen to have some way of sharing large files we could fix it. The whole map is 616 MB. Thanks! It seems you are referring to the Rumeli-i şahane haritası. Is it the same? I have heard that a scanned version of this map exist with the names of major cities superimposed with latin characters. Could it be the one that you have? I don't understand what Heath Lowry has to do with it though, perhaps it is mentioned at his book 'In The Footsteps Of The Ottomans A Search For Sacred Spaces & Architectural Monuments in Northern Greece' or 'The Shaping of the Ottoman Balkans,1350 - 1500: The Conquest, Settlement Infrastructural Development of Northern Greece'. I am also interested in trying to locate the actual borders of the old ottoman regions in Greece and Bulgaria. I have prepared btw a simple and by no means very accurate sketch map with the borders of the Gumurdjinska republika of 1913, you can see it at the discussion page of the greek version of the article.Japetusgr (talk) 18:03, 19 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, that's the map. I have it sliced in about 95 files and the first one gives credit to Lowry but all inscriptions are in Arabic. I can help you with that if the alphabet is the problem. The Austrian Map contains almost the same information but it is hard to resolve the borders there. I have also thought of producing a Map of the Republic of Gümülcine but the problem has always been that you can't find an accurate source about the extensions of its borders. --Chech Explorer (talk) 18:35, 19 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Europe 10,000 Challenge invite
