Re Grand RoiChaser, since you seem to have adopted Le Grand Roi des Citrouilles, perhaps you could give him some further guidance with regard to participation in AfD discussions. His contributions here and, especially, here are so far off topic that they would be risible if they did not seem purposely designed to confuse the discussion. (Unfortunatlely, since the latter article has been deleted, the utter irrelevance of the links he added to the article is not readily seen.) I'm willing to believe that Roi is acting in good faith, but he needs some help in keeping his enthusiastic inclusionism within reasonable bounds. Deor 19:00, 2 October 2007 (UTC)
CalgaryRe Dominik92 - thanks for looking into it. I know Calgary isn't a small town :) My IP check on those users showed them from coming from one of Calgary's suburbs. Appreciate the semi-protect on my user page! Cheers.--Lepeu1999 19:20, 2 October 2007 (UTC) CommentWikipedia:Articles_for_deletion/I_Bet_You_Look_Good_On_The_Dancefloor_(song). Le Grand simply voted keep, even though he didn't even bother to read the nomination note which clearly explained things. The article in AFD is a duplicate of another, and so it makes sense to remove one (or redirect at the least). AFD comments like that one, make me believe Le Grand doesn't read the article or pay much attention to the nomination note. I'm growing tired of this behaviour. I don't see how anyone can miss the note, unless they simply just skip it and go to edit right away...and vote keep. In this case: I think that's what Le Grand did. Not even bothering to read the nomination is simply unacceptable. RobJ1981 19:56, 2 October 2007 (UTC)
Another encouraging reaction!See this edit. I'm finding some of these to really make the experience rewarding! :) I hope your day is going well! Sincerely, --Le Grand Roi des CitrouillesTally-ho! 00:31, 3 October 2007 (UTC)
Your comments removed by another editorDear Chaser, Just to give you a heads up, I see your comments in a discussion have twice been removed: [3] and [4]. Sincerely, --Le Grand Roi des CitrouillesTally-ho! 16:23, 3 October 2007 (UTC)
Just to give you a heads up, I participated in the above discussion today that concerns a style of article for which I've participated in numerous discussions about and because I consider myself somewhat knowledgeable on Stephen King. I have intentionally avoided other discussions and articles edited by the two editors who argued with me in the past today and have limited my AfD participation for today to this one discussion alone. Sincerely, --Le Grand Roi des CitrouillesTally-ho! 00:12, 4 October 2007 (UTC) Dominik92In spite of your warning he's still at it. http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Saving_Private_Ryan&oldid=162177582 --Lepeu1999 12:55, 4 October 2007 (UTC)
Move protection of FAs - edit summariesI was confused for a while by this. I've been looking through your logs, and I now see that some of them say "move protection". Presumably you are carrying out the guidance at Wikipedia:Main Page featured article protection#Move protection? I think the "move=sysop" bit indicates this, but do you think you could make the protection summary a bit more informative? At first glance, what someone sees is "protected Orion (mythology)" - and I thought, "hang on, that's not right". Ideally, the edit summary would say "move protected Orion (mythology)". Question about wiki smiles/barnstars, etc.Dear Chaser, is there a master page of friendly templates (barnstars, smiles, etc.) with which users can post on other editor's talk pages? An editor just left this message on my talk page, which I think is really nice and I wanted to post a smile or something on his page to acknowledge this kind message. If you have any ideas of what might be appropriate, please let me know. It's just one of the most friendly things anyone has posted on my talk page yet, and I wanted to return the kindness. Thanks! Sincerely, --Le Grand Roi des CitrouillesTally-ho! 00:30, 5 October 2007 (UTC)
being bullied and accused of sock puppetingUser:Inetpup has been bullying me for the past few days. Worst of all she leaves insults on my discussion page, claiming I'm a sock puppet and a "dubious user". The damage is done. People will look at my history and wonder if its true, even though the accusation is totally false. This all started because I rightfully deleted an edit he/she made in Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport. The reason I'm writing to you is because you already warned her about making false accusations just a few weeks ago. Maybe you should issue a sterner warning or outright block this person? Regards, Graham Wellington 00:19, 8 October 2007 (UTC)
Related sockpuppetry claimI have the evidence you require. Graham is (or appears to be) a sock puppet of 67.83.219.204. This should clear my name of any false accusations. Thanks! --Inetpup 14:34, 9 October 2007 (UTC)

Re: Fred BauderI do not understand the suggestion to post my complaint on Fred Bauder's talk page. What will that accomplish? I interpret that to mean that there is nothing to do and that arbitrators can do what they want. I did post on Fred Bauder's talk page at the time of his vote, even though the other parties named in the arbitration did not want me to out of fear of retribution from Fred Bauder. His answer was that his vote was perfectly appropriate as, even though the article was a subject of the open arbitraion on the COI and self-promotion issues of Rosencomet, he felt the article by Rosencomet on himself was a good article. You are suggesting that now, eight months after the Arbitration has closed, that posting on Fred Bauder's talk page would have some effect, although it had none at the time? Could you explain your reasoning to me? Thank you. --Mattisse 13:20, 8 October 2007 (UTC)
What the?1. I have absolutely no idea why you have blocked me, can you please explain? 2. I don't think I have once made an unregistered edit to wikipedia 3. I have never claimed to be from a small town, I have never claimed to be living in Calgary 4. Not that I can remember, but is it possible that someone just picked a random account to vandalize from?--Dominik92 14:21, 9 October 2007 (UTC)
Ah crap! I think I know what happened now, somebody I know has been using my account and computer to do that, I have changed my password accordingly, but I don't think I can do anything about the vandalism from unregistered users, I guess the only thing you can do is semi-protect Saving Private Ryan or just the IP if it works that way (I don't know I'm no expert!) and sorry about all the trouble.--Dominik92 22:01, 9 October 2007 (UTC)

SCOTUS AfDMy jaw dropped when I saw your recent edit to List of United States Supreme Court cases, volume 113 adding the AfD tag. Changing votesChanging a vote twice is pretty shoddy behaviour, even if there's no specific policy against it. All I did was point this out, and highlight SnareVulcano's hypocrisy in accusing me of process-abuse, and s/he starts accusing me of Wikiquette issues. At this point I see no need to continue being excessively polite; s/he has assumed no good faith. I look forward to your hopefully non-biased answer. Most recent approach to discussions and articlesDear Chaser, please see Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/99 Ways to Die (song). I came upon a discussion with all deletes, but then did a search on the article and found that in its previous version the article did not contain much, but after some quick research, I was able to expand and clean up the article by adding references from The New York Times and Time and expanding its notability by discovering that in addition to appearing on two albums the song is a Grammy nominee: [11], [12], [13], [14]. Does the above seem like the right approach to take? Best, --Le Grand Roi des CitrouillesTally-ho! 01:59, 16 October 2007 (UTC)

If possible, Wikipedia:Requests_for_adminship/Green_Kirby, can you go ahead and close that, and send him a message. Green Kirby #4Hello, Chaser: So let me get this straight. My son deleted the unsoliceted sexual oriatation of one of your users, this user came crying to you, you've disciplened my son because, after all, this site is academic. Does anyone reaaly care who's gay and who isn't? There is nothing vague about what I'm requesting from you. If you want to mentor my son then so be it; but the silly little banter I've seen on these discussion pages make all of you seem like children. Let's see, do I need to tell you that I'm not gay? Is that important? Can the gay guy handle his own business or will you come to his defense each time. I think my sosn's actions regarding this idiot's site were apprpriate, since Wikipedia is not a forum to dance around declaring your sexual preference. Gee, makes you wonder what he doesn't reveal. Have a nice day. Dad of Green Kirby. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Green Kirby (talk • contribs) 23:17, 31 October 2007 (UTC)
Sukecchi: You are out of your league, and I'm about to yank my son from influences like you. "Tons of people" you say. In the first place, 'ton' is a measure of weight, not popuation. No one has a problem with your sexuality, we just don't want to read about it on Wikipedia, nor do we want to read how desperate you are for a boyfriend. Dude, get a my space page. And for you, Chaser: you've become so involved with this site that you are losing touch with reality. Ask yourself what Wikipedia is about, then review your main man Sukecchi's home page. There are people that enjoy defacating on babies but it has nothing to do with Wikipedia. I believe both you and Sukecchi need to get out of the basement, get some freash air, and if you're as intelligent as you thing you are see the world. My wife and I just got back from China, what have the two of you been doing. One more thing: Sukecchi, that your gay does not mean you cease to be a man. So suck it up and be a man. Men do not get "deeply offended" nor do we go to other men for help when a 13 year old is kicking our ass. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Green Kirby (talk • contribs) 15:10, 1 November 2007 (UTC)
Trust me, Mr. wants the world to know he's gay. I'm on him hte minute he gets home from school. I wish you no ill will, but my son was on the computor at 3:16 this morning. That won't fly. He is learning a lot from these on-line debates. Are you? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Green Kirby (talk • contribs) 15:34, 1 November 2007 (UTC)
Sir, you most likely won't be able to respond right now, but lemme add my comment in. One of Wikipedia's most stressed rules for articles is a neutral point of view. Obviously you don't believe the gay people should be able to express theirselves on their own pages, but they choose to do it anyway. This has been common practice for almost all of Wikipedia users on their own user page, to put things they like and put what they are. If the person is gay, or if he defecates on babies like you said, let him be. If you don't agree with what the person is, then just ignore it. Just don't vandalise their page with your opinions. That is not providing a neutral point of view. And if this looks like a jumbled block of words, it is 5:14 AM and I can't get back to sleep.Trevor "Tinkleheimer" Haworth 10:15, 2 November 2007 (UTC) My god....Mr, you have to understand that we arent a babysitting service, if your son is on here at 3:16, thats your problem, not ours, we arent his parents. Do you have any feedback regarding this discussion: Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Television series considered the greatest ever (2nd nomination). The one thing that struck me there was the impression that I ignored this discussion, when in fact, I thought my short, but polite replies on my talk page indicated that I read and acknowledged in a friendly manner the suggestion left there and then on the AfD linked to above I made three reasons as to why I thought the article should be kept: 1) the previous AfD was less than six months ago (yes, consensus can change, but I have seen other editors argue that some of these renominations are occuring too closely after old discussions; 2) the article has references and is therefore verifiable; and 3) the article satisfies the guideline Wikipedia:Lists by being coherently organized. Anyway, I was just curious of your thoughts if those seemed reasonable and if my replies were reasonable as well. On a positive note, I received another Barnstar today for my expansion and sourcing of the Armenian Genocide article! I hope all is well with you. Old reversionHi, I recently edited a article on El Al that you rightly unedited, I think you sent me the message "lol" im sorry I didnt reply, im new to wikipedia and didnt know how. I wasnt vandalising or anything I just thought the article was a farce, In my opinion there is a blatant misuse of the term humanitarian, there is nothing human about selectively helping people who are only in your caste or creed, I see that as racism. However I wasnt prepared to get into an online debate with Jewish "nationalists" over an article, having had previous experience of attempting that. Anyway I just wanted to clarify the reasons behind my scrupulous editing because I appreciate the good work you people do to clean such rubbish up.
