Editing The Convent of Pleasure

Hello Chagropango, I just wanted to let you know that I've undone some of your edits at The Convent of Pleasure. I appreciate your work on the page to address its unencyclopedic tone, but your edits in the "marriage" section introduced some inaccurate paraphrases of the sources. The unencyclopedic parts, to my eye, were in the subsequent "cross-dressing" section, which was unencyclopedic because it had too much direct quotation. When talking about interpretations, it's important to consult the underlying sources before changing how something is said. Hi Chagropango, I'm not sure what you mean, because I didn't revert your edit (e.g., simply undo your changes to restore a previous version). I used the older version as a reference while doing a new rewrite of the themes section, which included restoring some of the original phrasing but also writing new material and reorganizing the content. Introduction to contentious topics

You have recently edited a page related to articles about living or recently deceased people, and edits relating to the subject (living or recently deceased) of such biographical articles, a topic designated as contentious. This is a brief introduction to contentious topics and does not imply that there are any issues with your editing.
