A problem we have with the current lists though is that they're biased towards either pink or manga or horror films. There's a distinct shortish of coverage of drama, comedy etc. I've added year links from 1950 to 70s, I was wondering if you could add a few general films to each year list like List of Japanese films of 1950 adding more films from imdb which are not pink or manga. It's good that those are listed, yes, but it would be nice to have more of a balance :-) There's some quite notable films missing from the lists. The 50s and early 60s aren't too bad, but from mid 60s onwards they're dominated by pink films and manga/anime especially since the 80s.
