@MrClog: hello, please check the edit history on that one: I moved an unsourced BLP to draft, and the original editor came back and pasted the unsourced BLP right back over the redirect before it could be speedied db-r2. Coronavirus

Hello Capewearer. You sent me a message on my talk page informing about changes to COVID-19 article. When I was changing some info about cases deaths and recoveries I removed some info telling you what you must not do and when changing US cases I removed something underneath it. Hello Hi poland, in this edit, the right way to change it would be to change the number "402355" to a newer, higher value in the first row, change "12932" to a higher value in the second, and so on. The other fields are for overseas territories of the United States like Puerto Rico, Guam, etc. They're negative numbers, so they'll automatically be subtracted from the positive total. Don't delete any of the {{, | or }} characters. If you want to update only the aggregate numbers at the left, that's fine, and someone else can update the territorial numbers.
Please make sure to use numbers from one of the sources already cited in the template, as they've been agreed upon by discussion. If you want to use a new source, then just start a discussion on the template talk page. Thanks, Capewearer (talk) 15:27, 8 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, Category:2020 coronavirus pandemic in New York (state) by county is not being discussed for deletion, nor is its parent category. The county articles also aren't listed for deletion, but for merge which would include a redirect from their current titles. If you don't want one or more articles to be in the main article space, then we can move them to draft space for now, apart from the ones that are listed in the merge discussion. But removing a category, so that related articles can't be considered in the context of the current merge discussion, is not the best way to keep the discussion open and transparent. Hi Sam Salfa, in the MINURSO reference [3], it says:

The three recently confirmed cases in Dakhla remain under medical care, while the 6 previous cases in Dakhla and Boujdour have all since recovered. The lone death from Covid-19 in Tindouf Governorate has been officially confirmed as one of the 14 previously reported cases and not a separate case as we reported on 27 and 28 May. All 13 remaining cases have recovered and been discharged from hospital.

From that I read 3 active cases in Dakhla, 6 recovered in Dakhla and Boujdour, 13 recovered in Tindouf, plus one death in Tindouf.

Aha... OK, sorry, I see my mistake now with Tindouf. So decoding that badly-written MINURSO report, it's actually saying that in Western Sahara there are 3 active cases in Dakhla, 6 recovered in Dakhla and Boujdour, and zero dead.

Yes I think you're right, Worldometers is probably mistaken. There was a long discussion about Worldometers at Template:COVID-19 pandemic data, because its numbers were different so often from reliable sources, and in the end they put up a banner comment telling editors not to use Worldometers as a source. I don't think I'm mistaken. You added preprint sources from MedRxiv to COVID-19 pandemic in Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra, and COVID-19 pandemic lockdown in India. I know you were just trying to retrieve orphaned references, but you have to take responsibility for all of your edits. Those sources had no business being used in those articles, and the correct thing to have done was to remove the named references (and unsourced content if necessary), not re-add unreliable sources that were removed for good reason. It would, but I was working through 40+ articles and when I removed the ref from the first few, it hadn't occurred to me that the preprints had been spammed multiple times. Hi Liam. Please don't take it personally: the consensus among editors on notability reached quite a while back was that Wikipedia won't have separate articles on semi-pro athletes, unless there's something else particularly notable about them (such as a professional record in another sport, or significant coverage of them in a national press, etc.). So I don't think an interview in a local newspaper would change this. The teams you've played meet the guidelines, but not most of the players current and past. An athlete is presumed to be notable if the person has actively participated in a major amateur or professional competition or won a significant honor, as listed on this page, and so is likely to have received significant coverage in reliable secondary sources that are independent of the subject.

Based on this I qualify!

I played for Western Reds we played in the Sydney competition. I was contracted as a professional and got paid to play. Which is higher than a major amateur competition.

I played for the Ipswich Jets and trailed for the south Sydney Rabbitohs in 2001 when I was 20. I can email you my letter from south Sydney. I have played at a high level but at 20 left to join the military Served 4 years then wanted to continue my passion and try and make NRL. I trained with Qld cup and played A grade for norths Devils Then left to play semi professionally in USA I didn’t not work as I was paid then I left to play for the western reds. Now I’m coaching I see other Wikipedia pages about people who aren’t professional But played a semi professional sport that have pages so I honestly don’t get it. If he's never played in a pro match then on his sports record alone he wouldn't meet notability guidelines, however he has had national media coverage in reliable sources for his work as a model. You've explained here how a semi-pro athlete can be notable, but what's needed is evidence in the article, from a reliable source, to WP:Verify that the subject of the article (not just their team) has played in at least one professional or otherwise significant match. Please go ahead and add that evidence, because it hasn't yet been found online. If you need help adding an offline source like a newspaper clipping, I'm happy to help. I know AMNRL isn’t in the WP:RLN but it was the only semi professional rugby league competition in the USA. Back in 1908 the south Sydney Rabbitohs won the Grand Final In the NSWRL. And back then Rugby League was a Amateur sport and only became professional in the late 80/90s when players no longer had to work and play rugby league which would of made it semi professional. You've also been leaving old Facebook references in place when you updated other countries in that template, apparently believing that it wasn't necessary to update the reference yourself. Point taken. So why did you not correct the reference? you reverted the figure to one that you knew was incorrect, that was a childish thing the do. Please be nice. If I see something that is wrong on Wikipedia I correct it. I only use undo when thing are very clearly wrong - unusually vandalism. Undoing people's good faith reversions will only cause annoyance, and put people off editing Wikipedia, the last thing we need, especially just now.
