I thought the line was at WP:IMOS, but I can't find it. I've definately seen it somewhere. It's probably been removed by one of these sockpuppets, but it's a totally sensible policy anyway. If you find it, will you let me know? I'd like to quote it to this user. --Jza84 | Talk 12:18, 1 September 2008 (UTC) (Y)our articleYou did more than I did, I think. Oopsie on the image... I have a hard time just leaving things undone when they're so easy to add or fix! I've found that I really enjoy looking up references for most musicians and bands, since music is where my interest lies primarily. Someday I'll venture into actual content, but for now, I feel most comfortable doing what I'm doing. clarityat3am (talk) 20:27, 7 September 2008 (UTC) RE: AdoptionHey, I actually adopted Pozilla a while back but he seems to have gone inactive. I may well adopt another user soon! —Cyclonenim (talk · contribs · email) 17:09, 2 September 2008 (UTC)
A particularly troublesome user...I've been attempting to help User:KoziKaz with this fact he's been trying to add to the entry on Barney. He wants to mention that one of the characters is shorter, and the reason is unknown. I have said that I don't believe that is notable, and that he has not been able to even provide a reference. He is sending me YouTube videos to try to prove this, but instead of attempting to provide notability, he has resorted to calling me "stupid" and "gay." What do you think I should do? I really don't feel like belaboring this further. Also, I fear that I may be venturing into WP:BITE territory. What do you think I should do about this? Miquonranger03 (talk) 01:54, 3 September 2008 (UTC) Small stepsCan I cheer a little for myself for having an article that I spruced up be reassessed from Stub to Start class? I know it's not all too significant in the grand scheme of things, but it helps me think I'm moving in the right direction here. :) clarityat3am (talk) 03:23, 3 September 2008 (UTC) AdminshipFrom the point I am currently at (technically a new user, despite having been about for more than 2.5 years), what do you think I should do to be able to consider RfA? Hidden sectionsYeah it is sad that they are all leaving. You can create a "useful Wikipedians" section which would be less "suck-upish" ;). Malinaccier (talk) 20:42, 3 September 2008 (UTC)
The copy is at User:Cameron/Mother-in-law-zilla, though the text is pretty ridiculous if I may say so myself. Malinaccier (talk) 19:45, 5 September 2008 (UTC)
Motto of the dayHello, I notice you're using one of the {{motd}} templates, run by Wikipedia:Motto of the day. You may have noticed that some of the mottos recently have been followed by a date from 2006, or on occasion simply "Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia". The reason for this is that Motto of the day is in some very serious need of help. Participation in the project, which has never been especially high, has dropped considerably over this past summer, to the point we have had several days where no motto was scheduled to appear at all. Over the past several weeks, I've been the only editor scheduling mottos at all, but there aren't enough comments on some of these mottos to justify their use. If we do not get some help - and soon - your daily mottos will stop. In order for us to continue updating these templates for you, we need your help. When you get a chance between your normal editing, could you stop by our nominations page and leave a few comments on some of the mottos there, especially those that do not have any comments yet? This works very simply; you read a motto, decide whether or not you like it, and post your opinion just below the motto. That's it - no experience required, just an idea of what you personally like and what you feel reflects Wikipedia and its community. If you do have past experience with the project, then please close some of the older nominations once they've got a decent consensus going. There are directions on the nominations page on how to do this. If you have any questions, please let me know, or post on the project's talk page. I'm looking forward to reading your comments on the suggested mottos, and any additional suggestions you'd like to make. Until then, happy editing! Hersfold (t/a/c) 02:52, 4 September 2008 (UTC)
CopyrightI'll put it back; the image is only there while I'm building the article. Ta for the heads up, though. Prince of Canada t | c 18:16, 4 September 2008 (UTC)
Curtsey messageHow ya do, Cameron. We haven't been bumping into each other much these days. Infact, I haven't been too active around monarchial pages lately, as I've been hanging around the British/Irish pages concerning British Isles & Republic of Ireland. So, just thought I'd say how ya do. GoodDay (talk) 23:56, 5 September 2008 (UTC)
What can I say; my fingers are tied. GoodDay (talk) 19:59, 6 September 2008 (UTC) GroombridgeThanks for the message. I replied on my talk page, but I just wanted to say that you're doing a good job on that Groombridge page. I'll keep looking for other refs too. Take care. Regards,MarmadukePercy (talk) 17:46, 6 September 2008 (UTC) CharlesIndeed. I'm about a keystroke away from posting it over at wikiquette. Prince of Canada t | c 20:35, 6 September 2008 (UTC)

RE: Margaret FordThanks for asking! I'm certainly doing my best, and I did a few searches, but couldn't find anything on her, since there's both an author and actress by that name, as well as a company in Chicago. Since I'm not from Britain, nor am I well acquainted with it, it's difficult for me to judge articles that are Britain-related, and I should have noted this. I'll take a week-long break from tagging articles for speedy delete to reread the related policies and guidelines, since I accidentally tagged 2 articles with A4 because I didn't realize that that only applied to articles that were deleted through AFD, not speedy.miquonranger03 (talk) 16:06, 7 September 2008 (UTC) :D
Re: WP:MOTTOThat's ok. :) I replied on the nominations page. Cheers, –Juliancolton Tropical Cyclone Hiya Cameron. I brought up a compromise suggestion at that article, in hopes of ending the dispute between G2bambino & PrinceOfCanada. I partially succeeded; they both agreed that my idea was bad. GoodDay (talk) 21:00, 8 September 2008 (UTC)
ByeI think I'm going to be leaving the project. G2bambino's abuse is more than I can handle, and it will be impossible for me to edit the articles I'm interested in without running into his bullying. Prince of Canada t | c 00:36, 9 September 2008 (UTC)
Cameron, as Prince (predictably) removed my note to you and GoodDay from his page, and I'm not sure if you saw it before he did so, please see here. Cheers. --G2bambino (talk) 21:09, 9 September 2008 (UTC)
StatusHey! I was wondering how I could get my online/offline status to appear on any pages like the counter vandal task force unit and other help pages??Thanks Wiki Roxor (talk) 03:19, 10 September 2008 (UTC) BarnstarThank you for the Barnstar. I've never received one before and really appreciate it. -Rrius (talk) 21:18, 10 September 2008 (UTC) Legal threats against meSo! A few days ago I received my first legal threats. I think the lawyers of Cristina Schultz have been removing factual, sourced content that they believe to be slander (although it is perfect NPOV) against her, from the article. Diff They vandalized my user page, diff and also the RFPP page diff (which they had added a request to earlier diff after three times I reverted their removal of content). I placed the following message on the IP's talk page [1], referring them to the NLT page. Do you feel that that was appropriate? Also, is there anything else I should do that I haven't done? Thanks! They were given a 48-hour block per NLT, I just wanted to know your thoughts. miquonranger03 (talk) 01:15, 13 September 2008 (UTC) Discussion needed for changedPlease stop changing the dablink on commonwealth realm pages. The dablink was decided on a while back. If you have any concerns take them to WP:COMMONWEALTH where a central discussion can take place. Consensus is needed to make such bold changes, since consensus formed the first version and we don't know whether consensus has changed. Also, please do not remove mentions of personal union unless it has been discussed on the talk page. As both the changes you have made affect a large amount of articles I would suggest a central discussion at WP:COMMONWEALTH. Re:English Royalty WikiProjectGoing to make this brief, but, sir: full steam ahead I say! You can look up how I set up BRoy so many years ago if it helps. I'll lend a hand with the founding as and when! Huzzah! DBD 19:45, 13 September 2008 (UTC) Another day...another crazy eventToday, a user, User:212.139.121.207 repeatedly threatened (first, second, third to refer me to "the police" for "hate crimes" (I was replacing quotes on the following article, diff], that he "had my IP" (which is a blatant lie, unless he's got checkuser, which he clearly doesn't, since he thought that there was a "chief admin", and that I "wouldn't like it when police showed up on my doorstep). AdministratorshipHiya Cameron. I'm getting anxious, when will you be eligable for Administratorship? GoodDay (talk) 16:34, 16 September 2008 (UTC)
I shall consider it. At the momment, matters at British Isles & Republic of Ireland have the bulk of my attentions. GoodDay (talk) 19:19, 16 September 2008 (UTC)

I'm sane, honest!I hope you don't think I'm a looney running around with a sword shouting FREEDOM! Those were of course different days, it's the ballot box for me.
