Deletion of content talk pageYou should not delete content from your talk page. Unless you can demonstrate to me that it is all backed up in archives, I will restore it into an archive. αѕєηιηє t/c 15:38, 2 March 2008 (UTC)
Actually, ignore me. WP:TPG says you can delete them, but it is preferred that you don't. I can restore them into an archive for ease of viewing (but this page could still remain blank) if you wish? αѕєηιηє t/c 15:47, 2 March 2008 (UTC)
Instructions are at WP:AATP, I use this method. αѕєηιηє t/c 15:55, 2 March 2008 (UTC)
Queen discussionI'm going to take the discussion of "the queen" to Elizabeth's talk page. Gareth E Kegg 14:02, 15 November 2007 (UTC) ArchivesWell there we go then! Remember not to add new entries, but to make a new archive, add it there with the {{talkprotected}} template on both header and footer. Then just add it to /Archives. Have a nice day. αѕєηιηє t/c 16:06, 2 March 2008 (UTC) Hello Camaeron. Seeing as you've created that article, perhaps you'd be interested in the discussion taking place about its existance. GoodDay (talk) 18:06, 2 March 2008 (UTC)
PS: By the way, I'm a republican. However, I find having an interest in & editing on subjects I oppose? helps make me pratice NPOV on Wikipedia. I've managed it so well (sorta patting myself on the back), that G2bambino once suspected I was a 'closet monarchist'. GoodDay (talk) 18:49, 2 March 2008 (UTC) Wow, I certainly thought you were.. I stand corrected...--Camaeron Shame on you for getting rid of the entire controversial remarks section. People worked long and hard on those comments, including citing responsible sources, and for you to unilaterally remove them all is MOST UNWIKIPEDIALIKE. Insensitive and controversial remarks about such a public figure are most assuredly important in a wiki article, as this is an encyclopedia and NOT the Royal Family's PR site. You should have started a discussion rather than simply taking it upon yourself to remove an entire and large and important section of the article. In the future, please attempt some compromise or discussion rather than deeming yourself the arbiter of what is appropriate or not. Thank you for your adherence to this in the future. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.124.149.222 (talk) 21:08, 2 March 2008 (UTC) Who? me?
I'm flattered, honestly. But, I'll have to deliver a Shermanistic statement on such a nomination - Why? I don't feel I've the qualifications or patients for such a responsibility (you haven't seen me on the Ice Hockey talk-pages. I can be quite hot-headed at times, there). I've seen the questions asked of Administrator-nominees qualifications (I didn't understand most of their questions); I'm certain I'd flunk them. Again, I'm flattered; but I must decline. GoodDay (talk) 20:23, 3 March 2008 (UTC)
Grsz's you know who comment, is meant for a group of pro-diacritics editors at the Ice Hockey articles; he ain't hinting at you. I'll support you for Administrator, but I won't support me. GoodDay (talk) 17:38, 4 March 2008 (UTC)
Again, I'm flattered. But, I must (again) decline nomination; there's simply too much responsibility involved in being an Administrator. PS- I'm taking my 3-year old niece outside to play in the snow for awhile. I shall return within about an hour. PPS- you've got my support for Admin'. GoodDay (talk) 17:46, 4 March 2008 (UTC)
You've still got my support. GoodDay (talk) 18:53, 4 March 2008 (UTC) I can't be persuaded to accept nomination. I'm not fit for Administratorship. GoodDay (talk) 19:02, 4 March 2008 (UTC)
Many don't think so, aswell. GoodDay (talk) 19:21, 4 March 2008 (UTC) Canadian Majesty![]() A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Canadian Majesty, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the Request for adminshipHey Camaeron! I've noticed you around the 'pedia quite a few times now, and it is clear that you are a dedicated and enthusiastic editor, but after reading your last RFA, I'd urge you not to go back to RFA in 3 days. As an unwritten rule, a second RFA goes back after 3 months, see my first one in October and my second (successful) attempt in January. This is because people will be able to see clear definitions of progression and it will better reflect what you may have (but not necessarily seen to have, i.e. few edits but a bit of knowledge). If you have any other queries you can always contact me on my talk page or join IRC (help?) where you can ask others about what to do. Regards, Rudget. 19:18, 4 March 2008 (UTC)
Who? Me?, part IIAgain, I'm flattered. But again, I must decline nomination. GoodDay (talk) 17:54, 6 March 2008 (UTC)
I don't believe you can nominate me for Administrator, without my consent. Atleast, I've never heard of such a movement on Wikipedia. Interesting though (RFA rules), I can neither vote for (understandibly) 'or' against (interestingly) myself; if I had accepted nomination. GoodDay (talk) 18:01, 6 March 2008 (UTC) GreetingsI see you are pretty interested in the RFA process. Would you mind poking around my contribs and such a bit and seeing what you think I would need to work on in order to become an admin? Thanks a lot. Grsz 11 06:23, 7 March 2008 (UTC)
KBEConsensus regarding British post-nominals was achieved long ago, and is set forth in WP:NCNT. It has been discussed specifically in relation to Bill Gates here, here, here, here, here, and here. I have nothing to add. WillOakland (talk) 08:51, 8 March 2008 (UTC) WikiProject Germany Invitation--Zeitgespenst (talk) 15:56, 10 March 2008 (UTC) A closet monarchist?
Hmm, G2bambino asked me those question, about a year ago. A) I prefer editing & posting topics that I oppose, because it's a strong test of my ability to control my political PoVs. B) I've never met the Queen personally, so I neither like her or dislike. But, I oppose 'monarchy' in general. For example: EII2 station in life, was secured by executions & military slaughters via orders of her monarchial ancesters. Bascially, her thrones have the blood of innocent lives splattered on it. Yes, I know there's been executions etc, in Republics aswell (France's reign of terror, comes to mind). But, I just don't like the idea that the 'people' don't get to choose their Head of State. GoodDay (talk) 16:55, 14 March 2008 (UTC)
I appreciate that, alot. Thanks Camaeron. GoodDay (talk) 17:06, 14 March 2008 (UTC) Double VotingI see you have inadventently cast 2 votes one in the neutral section and 1 in support. Can you strike out one of them.[1] More clear here [2]Pharaoh of the Wizards (talk) 11:41, 16 March 2008 (UTC)

My comment about admin: an admin would not try to move someone from a talk page, would they? But I don't want to labour the point. We have here a mnisunderstanding, I think. Cheers.--Gazzster (talk) 20:38, 16 March 2008 (UTC)
Thank you. And I apologise for misunderstanding you. The problem with writing: we can't express intentions and emotions very well.--Gazzster (talk) 20:46, 16 March 2008 (UTC) Lieutenant Governor of NYWell I just heard on TV there won't be a lieutant governor can you justify that reversion? AfD nomination of List of Australian monarchs![]() An editor has nominated List of Australian monarchs, an article on which you have worked or that you created, for deletion. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also "What Wikipedia is not"). Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/List of Australian monarchs and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~). You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 17:59, 18 March 2008 (UTC) Re: Cool
I've just been re-reading my talk page messages, and find it awful I didn't respond! Sorry about that. I actually stole it of Mailer Diablo. :D Rudget. 18:28, 18 March 2008 (UTC)
You assume wrong - particularly in relation to bot reports, or reports posted automatically (for example, by people using Twinkle). Things that you can do include :
It's things like that, where a bit of clarification, or a "Oi, hang on, that's not quite right" comment is welcomed from anyone, not just admins. Feel free to post pertinent comments underneath a report - the best way to do that is to indent it, and start your comment with Comment - for example, a report may say : Gb (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · nuke contribs · logs · filter log · block user · block log) Vandalism on User:Gb after final warning given. GBT/C 13:53, 19 March 2008 (UTC)
Any problems or questions, leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks, and thanks for your help. GBT/C 13:53, 19 March 2008 (UTC)
Another good reason for assisting at AIV: It's good experience which you'll need if you ever apply for adminship yourself! — Tivedshambo (t/c) 19:17, 19 March 2008 (UTC) Sandbox
It looks great. But, I thought Ireland became merged with Great Britain in 1801, during George III's reign? GoodDay (talk) 16:06, 19 March 2008 (UTC)
Hello Camaeron, would an Afd on that article be better? Rather then a 'merge tag' on List of British monarchs? GoodDay (talk) 19:44, 19 March 2008 (UTC)
Signature
Glad you like it! The code is:
which includes the t/c bit. Feel free to adapt it - I'd suggest not making it too similar to mine. Don't forget to tick the Raw Signature box in your user preferences. You can find more about customising your signature at WP:SIG. — Tivedshambo (t/c) 19:46, 19 March 2008 (UTC) Barnstar Award accepted
I accept ye award, thankith thee. GoodDay (talk) 21:18, 19 March 2008 (UTC) Would you accept a knighthood if one was offered?--Camaeron I fully accept the Barnstar Award, most certainly. GoodDay (talk) 21:26, 19 March 2008 (UTC)
I wouldn't accept a Knighthood (but I would take the money, if there's any awarded). Hmm, Sir GoodDay? Nay. GoodDay (talk) 21:30, 19 March 2008 (UTC)
What can I say? It's the way I am. GoodDay (talk) 21:36, 19 March 2008 (UTC) RfA page
I don't know what I can contribute to that Page. Do you mean adding my opinon-votes to Administrator-nominees Rfa's? GoodDay (talk) 22:18, 19 March 2008 (UTC)
OK, I've got the Page on my watchlist. I'm a real push-over for this stuff though. In all the RFAs I've opinon-voted in, I've supported everyone of them to date. GoodDay (talk) 22:26, 19 March 2008 (UTC)
Closing WP:SNOW RFA'sHi Camaeron. Just a note, but don't forget to add closures to Wikipedia:Unsuccessful adminship candidacies. I've done it for O Keyes 2 [3].Cheers buddy. Pedro : Chat 23:16, 19 March 2008 (UTC)
RFA AdviceAs you probably know I lurk around RfA (far too much). Your first RfA ended at the very end of February, so I would counsel 12 weeks as a minimum - either the very end of May or better yet the start of June. You really need to show a minimum of three full months of substantial contributions.I know you've been here for a while but your contributions were erratic for a long time. You'll also need to be looking at an edit count (horrbile but it's reality) of 4k plus. And obviously keep on doing what you're doing in balancing project and article space edits. Keep reading current RFA's to see what the current mood is. Sorry if this isn't what you want to hear, but if you rush another Rfa with only 8 weeks more experience and another 1,000 edits it will fail and then you'll just have to wait longer still before applying again. It's not great, just the way it is I'm afraid. Pedro : Chat 12:32, 20 March 2008 (UTC)
Well played! GBT/C 13:47, 20 March 2008 (UTC)

Portals
I'd recommend G2bambino as a fellow to work on portals with you. I'm content with limiting myself to regular articles. GoodDay (talk) 17:24, 20 March 2008 (UTC) TildesI hope you don't mind that I have fixed your comment on the Wikipedia:Help desk. I noticed that you had wanted to add the tildes, but that you hadn't used nowiki. If you do mind, feel free to revert me. AecisBrievenbus 16:17, 21 March 2008 (UTC) Henry VIII of England - King of France?Hi, have you any references to show that he was the king of France? Is this perhaps a contentious addition to the article? Bardcom (talk) 16:34, 21 March 2008 (UTC)
In that case, have you a reference to show that it was a title of the sovereigns of England (?). Perhaps you should remove the reference to his being the King of France if it was not a true and recognised title... Bardcom (talk) 16:48, 21 March 2008 (UTC)
ScotlandHello Camaeron. I see you've entered the discussion at Scotland concerning the map. I wish you good luck. Regretfully, I've become convinced of a 'group ownership' having developed there. For some reason, there seems to be (at that article) a eagerness to remove Scotland away from the rest of the UK, as much as it's possible. GoodDay (talk) 17:41, 21 March 2008 (UTC)
I'll be watching, with fingers crossed. GoodDay (talk) 17:48, 21 March 2008 (UTC) Just some 'friendly advice'. IMHO, you should forget about 'the map' discussion at the Scotland article. GoodDay (talk) 22:20, 21 March 2008 (UTC) ===Commonwealth project===´
It looks good to me. There's nothing I can think of, to add to it. GoodDay (talk) 17:57, 21 March 2008 (UTC) If you want to launch the WikiProject? I'll become a member of it - having a republican on board (there are Commonwealth republics), would give it balance. My guess is Gazzster would be interested aswell. GoodDay (talk) 18:15, 21 March 2008 (UTC) Seeing how G2 & Tharky, then G2 & Gazz, have argued alot over how the Commonwealth articles (particularly the realms) should be presented? I think such a WikiProject should be acceptable. PS- Having jogged my memory, I suggested the creation of a Commonwealth WikiProject about a 'year' ago. But, for some reason, it didn't catch on. GoodDay (talk) 18:23, 21 March 2008 (UTC) Yeah, Tharky's a monarchist. When it comes to the Commonwealth realms? Tharky argues it's UK, first among equals; where's G2 argues All are equal. GoodDay (talk) 18:30, 21 March 2008 (UTC) PS: I did a few 'tweaks' on your sandbox, on the assumption that the WikiProject will also cover the Commonwealth republics. GoodDay (talk) 18:38, 21 March 2008 (UTC)
It's up to you. I'm content with just the realms. GoodDay (talk) 18:43, 21 March 2008 (UTC)
Yep. GoodDay (talk) 21:11, 21 March 2008 (UTC) ThanksOut of curiosity, why have you removed your CHU request? The new name you requested was fine. Acalamari 17:57, 24 March 2008 (UTC)
Ah, I see. :) I wonder where those bureaucrats have gone. Acalamari 18:17, 24 March 2008 (UTC) RfAHi! You might want to take another look at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Requests_for_adminship/CWY2190#Support - I've taken of your support, which was No. 43, as you've already supported at No. 11 - thought I'd just let you know. Ya forgot to change your moniker at Wikipedia: WikiProject Commonwealth realms; it's still under Camaeron. GoodDay (talk) 19:54, 25 March 2008 (UTC)
Okie Dokie. GoodDay (talk) 20:02, 25 March 2008 (UTC) Answer
Well, G2 recognised my 'quote' from the Booke of Queens as a light hearted send up of how the realms are treated in Wikipedia. And he gave back as good as he got! And I think that's cool. I have my opinions, but I like them to be challenged. And Prince Phillip - the racist and bigotted b******s that escapes his mouth! That's what I meant about darkness coming forth from his mouth. --Gazzster (talk) 22:23, 25 March 2008 (UTC) Misunderstood?
Well, you are of course entitled to an opinion. Appreciate the joke or not in the context it was intended.--Gazzster (talk) 22:29, 25 March 2008 (UTC) It just occurred to me I might be using Aus slanfg you dont understand. 'send up' is a satire or parody; 'comeback' is a reply to criticism, insult or 'send-up'.--Gazzster (talk) 22:54, 25 March 2008 (UTC)
You do realize the candidate has about zero edits and has been username blocked? Cheers Dlohcierekim 12:32, 26 March 2008 (UTC)
Sorry you feel this way. This is obviously not a newcomer. Newcomers don't have the knowledge to submit an RfA with realistic sounding tool use requests. In fact, the candidate denies being a newcomer. This is an experienced user playing a joke or attempting disruption, or something even more tantalizing. Hence the joke question. Once you've been around RfA longer, you will see more joke questions and even joke opposes that are really supports.I was just wondering why you posed a fairly in depth question. Cheers, Dlohcierekim 12:42, 26 March 2008 (UTC) He(?) has answered your question, and quite well I think. Come to think of it, was unblocked to switch user names and has instead continued to anser RfA. Oh, well. May switch to support. Dlohcierekim 12:47, 26 March 2008 (UTC) ConsensusI'd recommend we have a 'copy' of that 'consensus polling' put at Monarchy of Canada. That way, nobody can claim, the WikiProject is trying to control that article. GoodDay (talk) 15:34, 26 March 2008 (UTC) Nevermind. You've already left a notice at that article. GoodDay (talk) 15:40, 26 March 2008 (UTC) Jolly good. GoodDay (talk) 15:51, 26 March 2008 (UTC)
Nope. But I love British expressions. GoodDay (talk) 15:53, 26 March 2008 (UTC) Luv it. GoodDay (talk) 16:02, 26 March 2008 (UTC)
I've never taken the time, to learn how to create them. For example: It took me over 2 yrs to learn how to archive my talk pages. I'm very slow at learning these things. GoodDay (talk) 16:34, 26 March 2008 (UTC) I've tried this
But it didn't work. As you can see it's red and says 'page doesn't exist'. GoodDay (talk) 18:56, 26 March 2008 (UTC) I think I'll forget about putting Userboxes on my Page, for a while. As you can see, I'm not very good at learning such things. GoodDay (talk) 21:20, 26 March 2008 (UTC)
Someday, I'll try again (and meet you at your sandbox). PS- By the way, I've never had my own sandbox, either. GoodDay (talk) 19:16, 27 March 2008 (UTC) Interesting, I shall create one someday. GoodDay (talk) 19:28, 27 March 2008 (UTC)
