Permission has been obtained from John James Bristol Foundation and has been acknowledged on the talk page for this article. It is unsurprising that much of the material is common to both as the facts about a person will be the same however you write it. Jjarchivist (talk) 13:08, 5 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
What do you mean "Gamerant not really a top-tier source?" What are you talking about? I was just wondering since I found this tag on the Alice and The Mad Hatter (Alice & The Mad Hatter) draft article today.
(Gamerant is not really a top-tier source since it is a content farm. Use with caution. Catalk to me! 16:42, 6 December 2024 (UTC)}}) 2601:401:4300:3720:B40D:D2E6:73F2:D3D4 (talk) 20:04, 6 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you for the tips, but yould you help me with the edit?
Hey Ca,
I asked a question priously in connection with this article, but could you help me further with this infobox edit? Could you probably co-edit with me and add the infobox?
Thank you, I hope, that it will get accepted, made some edits, but I always get rejected with this project. (I’m struggling to keep up with my goal of featuring one Hungarian businessperson who is active internationally every month as a hobby.) Financer01 (talk) 14:45, 10 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Talk page stalker You might have more luck, @Financer01, if you try to improve the article of one internationally-active Hungarian businessperson each month, rather than create one. The subjects of existing articles are much more likely to have additional reliable sources to add to their articles. Just a thought.
You asked me to confirm that I am releasing the text under free license. I confirm. You also commented that you thought the text was promotional. Do you have suggestions? Lpintak (talk) 07:10, 12 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for the confirmation! You should send a email listed at WP:DONATETEXT to confirm your identity as a copyright holder.
As for the tone issues, words like "award-winning" and "academic leader" are vague and promotional. In addition, most of the sources cited are by the subject (in this case, you). Wikipedia articles should be mostly sourced to what people independent from the subject say about the subject. Catalk to me!07:47, 12 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I have made a number of edits, tightening up and restructuring the text. See if you feel this addresses the issues you raised. I think I eliminated any sources that are not third party or links to my articles where they are mentioned. Lpintak (talk) 15:30, 12 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Palio di Castellanza Draft
Hello @Ca, I viewed the comment you left on the page of the Palio di Castellanza, the festival held in the northern of Italy. The page is still in review, but the issue with the date has been fixed! Thank you for notifying it. Pinoyagent11 (talk) 08:28, 15 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you for your valuable feedback. I wasn’t aware there was someone who could reference Korean sources on Wikipedia. Your assistance in validating his credibility through Korean media coverage is tremendously helpful.
As the owner and CEO of a Fortune 500 company based in Korea, his business activities are primarily focused in the region, and there is extensive coverage of his career and accomplishments from reputable, mainstream Korean media outlets. I have already located additional Korean sources to further substantiate his presence and influence in the industry.
I was wondering if I should simply resubmit the edited draft with these sources for your review, or if there’s another process I should follow. I would greatly appreciate your guidance on how best to proceed.
Thank you again for your support!
If you think the draft now meets the criteria for inclusion, then feel free to resubmit. Note that the "notability" as defined in Wikipedia is quite different from its everyday use. Without in-depth coverage in independent and reliable sources, it is hard to write a cohesive or neutral article. I haven't seen your edited version yet, but currently the draft is not very "cohesive" for a lack of a better term; it reads like a CV or a resume. It has a simple list of positions, but it lacks details what he did in those roles. I hope this helps. Catalk to me!01:03, 18 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I really appreciate your reply. It tremendously helped me understand "notability" from a different viewpoint and I have added multiple paragraphs to increase the article's cohesiveness and focus more on his activities and accomplishments following your advice. I was wondering if you would be willing to take another look at it when you have time. Here is the link to the draft: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Draft:Chung_Kisun
Sorry, I should have been more specific. Currently, the cited sources do not give enough information about the hospital to write an entire article about it. The SunStar source is just an announcement of the construction starting. MCM is not an independent source. pna.gov only tangetially discusses the hospital. Catalk to me!05:21, 19 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you for clarifying. Do i really need an online article about it? since the hospital just started only few articles can be searched online. can you help me on this? Truffles771 (talk) 05:37, 19 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
On 1 January 2025, a one-month backlog drive for good article nomination reviews will begin in hopes of addressing the growing backlog.
Barnstars will be awarded based on the number, length, and age of nominations reviewed.
Each article review will earn 1 point; for each 90 days an article has been in the backlog, an additional half-point is awarded; one extra point will be awarded for every 2500 total reviewed words.
Hello everyone, and welcome to the 26th issue of the Wikipedia Scripts++ Newsletter, covering all our favorite new and updated user scripts since 1 August 2024. At press time, over 94% of the world has legally fallen prey to the merry celebrations of "Christmas", and so shall you soon. It's been a quiet 4 months, and we hope to see you with way more new scripts next year. Happy holidays! Aaron Liu (talk) 05:06, 25 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Featured script
Very useful for changelist patrollers, DiffUndo, by Nardog, is this edition's featured script. Taking inspiration from WP:AutoWikiBrowser's double-click-to-undo feature, it adds an undo button to every line of every diff from "show changes", optimizing partial reverts with your favorite magic spell and nearly fulfilling m:Community Wishlist/Wishes/Partial revert undo.
Miscellaneous
Doğu/Adiutor, a recent WP:Twinkle/WP:RedWarn-like userscript that follows modern WMF UI design, is now an extension. However, its sole maintainer has left the project, which still awaits WMF mw:code stewardship (among some audits) to be installed on your favorite WMF wikis.
DannyS712, our former chief editor, has ascended to MediaWiki and the greener purpley pastures of PHP with commits creating Special:NamespaceInfo and the __EXPECTUNUSEDTEMPLATE__ magic word to exclude a template from Special:UnusedTemplates! I wonder if Wikipedia has a templaters' newsletter...
BilledMammal/Move+ needs updating to order list of pages handle lists of pages to move correctly regardless of the discussion's page, so that we may avoid repeating fiasco history.
Andrybak/Unsigned helper forks Anomie/unsignedhelper to add support for binary search, automatic edit summaries after generating the {{unsigned}} template, support for {{undated}}, and support for generating while syntax highlighting is on.
Polygnotus/Move+ updates BilledMammal's classic Move+ to add automattic watchlisting of all pages—except the target page(s)—changed while processing a move.
