Disputed non-free use rationale for File:1974 AMC Matador with Oleg Cassini PRfoto.jpg
Thank you for uploading File:1974 AMC Matador with Oleg Cassini PRfoto.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this file on Wikipedia may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the file description page and adding or clarifying the reason why the file qualifies under this policy. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Non-free use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your file is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a non-free use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for files used under the non-free content policy require both a copyright tag and a non-free use rationale.
Hi CZMarlin. There's no need for any non-free use rationales if you're sure that the file is within the public domain. I suggest you use Template:Information instead. The parameters are pretty straight forward, but you're going to need to provide a source for the file if possible so that the dates can be verified. If you have any questions about this, you can ask for help at WP:MCQ. In addition, if the file is public domain, you should also consider tagging it with Template:Copy to Wikimedia Commons. Currently, the file is only uploaded locally to English Wikipedia which means that it's use in limited to English Wikipedia. On Commons, the file will be available for use to other language Wikipedias as well. -- Marchjuly (talk) 22:40, 11 March 2017 (UTC)
Still a mystery of the vehicle - most likely from a vintage pickup
Hi Christopher. I have just put one of your images at the top of this article. Do you have any idea what the vehicle is / was that it is from? Regards, Eddaido (talk) 11:52, 11 March 2017 (UTC)
Thanks for asking about that frame. I took the picture some time ago and it was one of several at this auto repair shop. They said it was most likely from a Ford pickup truck, but they were not sure of the year. That is about as much information I could get about it. CZmarlin (talk) 18:12, 19 March 2017 (UTC)
Thanks for this. I'm now trying to think of a way to get certain of that i.d. If you find out can you put that in the photo caption? Please do not drive into something else just to get back there. ;) Eddaido (talk) 23:39, 19 March 2017 (UTC)
1974 Dodge Ram
Dodge Ramcharger
Hello CZmarlin,
First of I wanted to let you know you have a beautiful truck. I as well have a same model truck but I am still building on it. I was wondering if you knew of any places were or websites were I can order parts. I would greatly appreciate it. I have been struggling to find parts due to how my truck is. If you happen to know can you please message me here or send an email at joshuajmoreno@yahoo.com when you get a chance?
There are many images of cars that I have posted. These are not my vehicles. In any case, there are numerous vendors that specialize in these vehicles, such as here or here. Moreover, you should find an antique car club (especially one focused on the Dodge pickups) as members work to help others. All the best in your search for parts. I reverted your change and added a comment on the article's talk page.
Used your 1969 Dodge Charger Green Image
Hi, your image has been used to display the evolution of the Dodge Charger in an infographic (not yet published) :)

Mopar Updates
Hi CZmarlin,
My name is Laura Hoeft. I work for a marketing agency that includes the Mopar brand as one of its clients. I noticed that you recently made an edit to Mopar’s Wikipedia entry, and I wanted to thank you for your involvement in curating the page.
In reviewing the Mopar Wikipedia info, I noticed a few areas that could be updated/corrected. In the spirit of accuracy, I wanted to reach out to share a few comments, for your consideration in any future edits.
INTRO
For the second sentence of the intro paragraph, the following would be more accurate: Mopar has also introduced a series of limited-edition, customized vehicles, that latest of which is the Mopar ’17 Dodge Challenger. [2]
HISTORY
In the first paragraph of the history section, suggest changing parent company info to reflect up-to-date info: “Mopar parts are original equipment manufactured parts for FCA US LLC vehicles. The term “Mopar” has passed into broader usage among car enthusiasts as an unambiguous reference to vehicles produced by former parent company Chrysler Group LLC, now FCA US.
SPONSORSHIP
In the sponsorship section, the caption is incorrect, as Mopar has not sponsored sprint car racing in a number of years
The sponsorship section starts out mentioning a Mopar sponsorship in 1996 – FYI, over its 80 years, Mopar has sponsored a number of racers in a variety of motorsports series, including many prior to 1996
For consideration in inclusion, below is info on Mopar’s current involvement in motorsports sponsorship:
Mopar remains extremely active in the NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series. The brand sponsors Don Schumacher Racing drivers in the Funny Car and Top Fuel classes
Matt Hagan drives the Mopar Express Lane Dodge Charger R/T Funny Car, with teammates Ron Capps, Jack Beckman and Tommy Johnson Jr. also driving Mopar-powered Dodge Funny Cars
Capps is the defending NHRA Funny Car champ, Hagan is a two-time series champion and Beckman has captured one crown – all with Mopar power
In Top Fuel, rising star Leah Pritchett drives the Mopar/Pennzoil Dragster at select events. Eight-time Top Fuel champion Tony Schumacher campaigns the Mopar-powered U.S. Army dragster.
Grassroots NHRA Sportsman racers also compete with support from Mopar. Drivers of the Mopar Dodge Challenger Drag Pak, the brand’s modern-day package car, are eligible for a variety of Mopar contingency awards and benefits
Mopar has also sponsored the Mopar Mile-High NHRA Nationals, held each July in Denver, for 29 years, the longest-running sponsorship in all of drag racing.
HISTORY (new)
Mopar is a brand of FCA US LLC
To even further expand, Chrysler built the Center Line parts depot, which distributes Mopar parts. This depot remains, and today includes the world headquarters of the Mopar brand
Chrysler sponsored race teams with powerful trucks, sedans, and coupes using Mopar power
Mopar does not currently have assembly lines; today, 13 Mopar Custom Shops allow customers to choose accessories and have them installed on their vehicle before picking up their new vehicles
“Since this first collectible, Mopar has released a limited edition every year. The most recent is the Mopar ’17 Dodge Challenger.”
This car was in the annual Rockville, Maryland, classic car show. I only took three pictures of it (front, rear, and interior) and these are just a few of the many images of cars that I have posted. Please note that these are not my vehicles. Thanks CZmarlin (talk) 20:56, 5 February 2018 (UTC)
ownership of this vehicle
I am wondering if you have the name, phone number, address or e-mail address of the owner of this vehicle. Please respond to the e-mail address....trish@doddmotors.com
My name is Alison Christovich, a college student and amateur graphic designer. I've been working on a book cover design for a friend of mine and have implemented some fair-use photography as part of the full design. I wanted to let you know that I have adapted the photo in the subject line of this message for this design and given you due credit for it per your request. I'd also like to thank you for publishing this photo and allowing it to be used and shared within the online and print community, especially since it has helped me build up my digital design skills. If you would like more information about me, the design, or the book, please feel free to respond to this message or email me personally at ali.christie1308@gmail.com.
Thank you again for your contribution, and I hope you have a great day!
I am pleased that you found the picture useful for your studies. The old saying is "don't judge a book by its cover" - yet there is "only one chance to make a first impression" so I trust that your final design is outstanding! All the best in your academic studies and professional endeavors. CZmarlin (talk) 20:56, 5 February 2018 (UTC)
