Ncmvocalist (talk) 26 October 2010 (UTC) SmallvilleI'm glad to see another Smallville fan. Most TV shows cannot actually support individual articles on each episode though. Most episode pages contain nothing but plot summaries with no actual real world info. Why they continue to exist when they fail WP:NOTE is a question I ask myself all the time. As for Smallville, it suffers from really being on a poor channel. Certain episodes have received significant coverage (which is the requirement for a stand alone article), but most don't. IGN is a good source to use for reviews, but that's just a single review. You need multiple reviews from professional sources and unfortunately, Smallville doesn't get the same press as say a show like House. The other issue is that they stopped producing the companion books (and I own all of them, which is what I use to write the Smallville articles) after season 7. So, seaosn 8, 9, and 10 do not have companion books to go with them. As such, that means that there is limited production info on episodes. What we get is more over-arching details that span a whole season that should we separate out for individual episode articles we'd end up with a couple of sentences for production and that would be it. What we really need is someone who has a LexisNexis account to access newspaper articles so that we can get reviews for the more notable episodes (e.g., 100th, 200th, main character deaths, finales, and premieres) as there are not a lot of professional reviews (I say "professional" because there are quite a bit of reviews, they are just ones we cannot use because they fansites or privately owned websites with no history of editorial oversight) on the web for Smallville. I expected a lot would be there for "Homecoming" the show's 200th episode, but they weren't. Most of the reviews were completely unusable because they were either from someone we couldn't use, or they contained no real information (i.e. they were really plot recaps). I look forward to a fresh pair of eyes searching the web for good reviews to use, and if you find enough (probably need at least 4 professional reviews that would hold up under FAC scrutiny) for "Arctic" let me know because I can get the season 7 info from the companion book for it. What we could use is also source searching for each of the seasons, since most of the episodes won't be notable by themselves each season and we'll end up with season articles that are fleshed out like Smallville (season 1), Smallville (season 2), or Smallville (seaosn 3) (I haven't sat down and done the other seasons yet).
