Salvio giuliano 10:42, 8 March 2023 (UTC) DYK eligible?Hello Bruxton, you kindly gave me some good advice re: Yinka Ilori article (via DYK nomination), so I thought it might be appropriate to ask for further DYK advice here (not sure if this is the right place to put this note either—apologies if not). Please have a look at the Brionvega article (which I have substantially reworked over the past few months, and especially, in the past few days). I'm wondering if this article meets DYK criteria (i.e., how is the fivefold expansion figure calculated: authorship, edits, bytes added, other)? If so, the Hook would probably be about the company being the first Italian manufacturer of television sets (1954) and the first European manufacturer of transistorised portable TVs (1962), exact wording to be determined. Thank you, Cl3phact0 (talk) 10:43, 8 March 2023 (UTC)
Your GA nomination of Passing Mother's GraveHi there, I'm pleased to inform you that I've begun reviewing the article Passing Mother's Grave you nominated for GA-status according to the criteria. This process may take up to 7 days. Feel free to contact me with any questions or comments you might have during this period. Message delivered by ChristieBot, on behalf of Ppt91 -- Ppt91 (talk) 05:02, 9 March 2023 (UTC) GA review of Passing Mother's GraveHi @Bruxton! I've started a review of your article. I wanted to give you an update here in addition to the automated notice. Below are my initial comments included in the review page. Initial comments: I am happy to review this interesting article on a painting by Jozef Israëls, although I wanted to mention at the outset that the article will require a fair amount of work--including expanding its scope, adding more secondary sources, and improving prose--to bring it up to GA level. Being one of his best-known compositions, Passing Mother's Grave has been quite extensively discussed in secondary literature, only some of which is included in the article. Other sources already included need to be used more carefully; for instance, the Scribner's Magazine article from 1912 presents a critical view of the work (and of the artist) that should be discussed in the reception section rather than being used as citation for visual description. That would be sufficient for C-level but it is not enough for GA. Moreover, the painting, which itself exists in several versions, has been widely reproduced in other media (one print is even included in the corresponding nl-wiki page on the work) and printmaking needs to be addressed in this context. These are just some preliminary comments and I will provide a more detailed feedback soon, along with suggesting additional sources that should be of help. I should be able to do so in the next few days and look forward to working with you on improving the page. Please let me know if you have any questions in the meantime! "confusing" hookRe this: I sort of see what you mean; it was a product of striving for brevity in the hook in order to have as much flexibility in amending it during the review process. Both Storye book and myself very much preferred the original hook, the one you replaced. I would be happy to amend it (even in the queue) so it is clear that Wilson was acquitted of Heidelberg's murder, and not just any murder. I believe there's room to make that change. I don't think I'll end up promoting this myself, but I do want to leave a friendly note that I'm a little put off by the usage of ticks in this nomination page. In general, DYK approval ticks should represent the consensus of everyone involved – sometimes, that's a consensus of two people, but that doesn't mean that an approval tick can be offered based on one person's judgement at any time. Standard practice would definitely discourage reverting a reversion of a tick, or otherwise tick-warring. The situation was rather frustrating, I admit, but I think the best option was to elevate to a noticeboard. Happy to talk more and hear your concerns :) theleekycauldron (talk • contribs) (she/her) 21:59, 16 March 2023 (UTC)

March 2023Please stop. If you continue to vandalize pages by deliberately introducing incorrect information, as you did at User talk:Zefr, you may be blocked from editing. On my talk page, you said: "I am hoping that very soon you will stop your disruptive editing. Erasing AfD comments is not allowed under our rules. You have been un-collegially forcing changes contrary to our consensus policy." You have twisted the facts about the actual AfD discussion process. Read WP:AFDFORMAT, which you are choosing to ignore. There is no consensus established, so you are misleading the discussion to infer one exists. RV posted talk page comments in order to influence the AfD process, WP:NOTFORUM, justifying its removal. You are also twisting the discussion I had with RV. This user is blatantly synthesizing fasting in some content and sources, and longevity in others. See WP:SYNTH, used in my edit summaries. Rather than stating the actual reason for my reverts of RV's edits and dispute of RV's reasoning, you chose to misinform the AfD talk page by saying I issued a "warning to RV for attempting to improve the article." This was purposeful deceit. You reverted my edit of the truth, which is not yours to claim - it is a heading for a hidden section on the AfD talk page. It is your responsibility to change it for the way it was intended, as shown by edit summaries and RV talk page comments. Zefr (talk) 19:38, 24 March 2023 (UTC)
