- No problem. It is a pretty recent change and not every one is fully agreed upon the use of the template I used, i.e. whether to use it when there is no reception section. - I think it will do fine until there is enough reason to even have a Reception section. And even then, I see no reason why it can't stay. The biggest problems I really had with it is that it's not the same width as the infobox and it hangs down low, but there is a [hide] button, and adding more content to the page can certainly fix the hanging problem. I can't find any guideline or policy supporting your insistence to remove the mention of significant awards in the first sentence of actors' articles. While this is not my main field of Wikipedia editing, point #5 in MOS:BIO#Opening paragraph seems to suggest the opposite, and I can't find anything in WP:ACTOR to suggest otherwise, despite your occasional claims to that effect. - Thanks for the pointer (I was looking under "Style"). The precise wording of that section and its history suggest to me that it might not apply to a lead section which consists of a single sentence. After all, it says that awards should be mentioned in the lead section (just not in the lead sentence). Your removal, at least in the case of Bryan Brown, left the terms "Golden Globe" and "Emmy" unlinked when they occurred later in the article; that's why I found your edit unhelpful. -- Michael Bednarek (talk) 13:16, 21 May 2010 (UTC)

- I've seen all Brits here use "Lede". I didn't question them, because it's really not a big deal... to me. Usually they do spell how a word sounds so I figured it was part of their vocabulary, in the 21st century. I don't think Bovineboy is British, perhaps he just fancy how it reads? Is this a problem? - It's not a problem at all; it's just an edit summary so it really doesn't matter. I guess I am just projecting my own tendencies to be instructive and to welcome other people with verifiable knowledge of the facts being instructive to me. If I consistently misspelled a word I would want someone to tell me. Since a search of [askoxford.com] and [Macmillan English Dictionary] and other online dictionaries finds no search results for "lede", and from this [Maven's Word of the Day] article, I've concluded that the correct spelling in American and British English is indeed lead. --hulmem (talk) 15:50, 23 May 2010 (UTC)
My take on this, as a British writer living in the USA, is that pretentious journalists and wannabes misspell lead as lede and use the word graph when they mean paragraph as a way of signalling that they're IN THE KNOW. The film is just over 2 years in the future. For films that aren't going to be released until at least 4 years into the future, it makes no sense for Wikipedia to have articles on them. Thank you for your diligence in maintaining the article and defending against vandalism. I have just one question and I will leave this to you to decide. I see that you have kept the Official Fan Club site off the external links list. While, at one time far too many outside sites were attempting to link there for promotional purposes, the fan club site actually constitutes a "Main Website" of sorts, where some information is referenced from on the article and further information can be found in the history section. The site does have editorial oversight and I believe is connected to the studio in some manner. Whether that fact adds to the promotional perception or not I won't say, but would argue in keeping the link only for it's informational value. I hope you are doing well. I'm asking all of the coordinators who haven't already taken a look at the spotlight image cleanup listing to consider leaving comments on the images. I'd like to get the ball rolling on either keeping or removing the images from the articles, but we need more than one or two comments to ensure there is consensus. I'm sure we all the know the importance of our project's spotlight articles, and if we don't have proper examples, new editors may make MOS mistakes (say that five times fast!) if they're referring to what should be our project's best articles (which may actually conflict with MOSFILM). A new games list needs to be added to the Nintendo DS Games list section for DSi exclusive games. There currently are two games not listed in any of the Nintendo DS #/A-Z game lists. I'm assuming because they are DSi exclusive, but are not DSiWare. Regarding this edit, the first release date is already listed. According to the article, the film was released on August 13, 2004 (first sentence of the "Box office" section). Where are you getting the date of August 12 from? That date is not given anywhere in the article. Please tell me what you are refering to in the article you linked in your edits. From what I read, all the link states is if a number is 99, round it to 100, exc. What does it have to do with presenting a budget as X million and XXX,XXX,XXX? The second option gives more detail and is far better-looking to the eye than just X million. If we start doing the budget on wikipedia like that now, why not just go and edit a films gross to be X million also? They both are NOT EXACT numbers. - 125 million and 125,000,000 are the same. Just like saying "laughing out loud" and "lol", lol is not aproximate. It means laughing out loud. If you havent noticed, the sites you are getting your information from does not state "approximately 125 million" it states "the budget is 125 million" and whether that is an approximation is irrelivant to the situation (not to mention the fact of budgets NOT being exct either). There is nothing on Wikipedia that states the abreviated form is better. So why should we keep the abreviated form when we can use the full form? Its similar to contractions. "It's" is a lazier way of writing "it is" but we still use it and it is still correct. IMO, we should stop listening to the lazy scientist in you and start looking at the entire equation....
