• @Dlohcierekim: - no worries. Just to explain, the reason why I didn't CSD it outright is that I've encountered several times on NPP people creating duplicate articles like this, so since it wasn't doing any harm I thought it would be nice to give her a chance to copy text over before deletion.
  Sometimes, I've run into people using Wikipedia as a place to draft an essay for another purpose, like college coursework, because they thought it would be a convenient place for that - even things like university applications. (Here's a previous case where I did speedy and [[User talk:KathandMak|felt rather bad about it...]) Or I've run into new contributors without much confidence who were very nervous about editing a preexisting article since they thought only 'special people' could do that (or perhaps couldn't face the idea of improving a pre-existing text) so they decided to write their own new one. (Articles on this pattern often have titles like "Simone de Beauvoir: a feminist perspective" or "New developments in understanding of glucose metabolism".)
  So I felt it would be polite to PROD with a message so she had a chance to copy any text over. Blythwood (talk) 16:37, 26 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for all the info about notability and making species pages. I will plan on making a few pages for my favorite species once I have the time. I'm still new to editing and especially formatting, but I'll just make sure to make sure everything has a citation and rely on you (and others) for any specific pointers or corrections that might be needed.

Sir/Madam: thank you for your review of Coquille River Falls and Ice Lake (Oregon), plus your edits to both. I added references and retouched the information you picked up as contradictory. Please know the errors are not blatant but mistakes of eagerness mixed with little time.

On another note, do not ever, under any circumstance, return to my talk page to make innuendos on the stability (or otherwise) of my mental or physical capacities. Whether you feel empowered by beta-amyloids or the fraternity of the bourgeoisie, blatant [sic] irreverence of this kind is the already so noted reason too many superb editors and volunteers run off this project.
