Thanks! Thanks for your message, I was just trying to have a bit of fun, but I understand it needed to be removed and wikipedia mostly isn't a good place to have little jokes with oneself! I was very impressed by the speed it was picked up with though! Hopefully one day I'll have something useful to contribute. 94.169.248.63 (talk) 22:47, 20 June 2009 (UTC) Thomas CochraneOne note that the External Link and date of Thomas Cochrane's creation as Marquess of Maranham were first requested for someone to contribute to - The very reason this author contributed accordingly... Recent Talk Page EditsBenea and BarretBonden, Sorry for the recent edits on my talk page which is on your watchlist. I have been retrieving all of my discussions since I joined Wikipedia. I am sure you will agree that some are very interesting!!! With compliments. DAFMM (talk), 10th August 2009. P. S. I copied this here incase you haven't got it on your watchlist anymore.
Dorset needs YOU!
Since you are listed under Wikipedians in Dorset, I am hoping you may be interested in saving the article on Dorset. The article was promoted to featured status in 2005, when the standards for FA were not as strict, and therefore it is soon to be reviewed once again. Currently the article, if only for lack of references, would fail to pass the Featured article review.
Your help, however much, will be vital in keeping this important article at FA. At WikiProject Dorset, the WP devoted to Dorset-related articles, we will be helping to organise restoration of the article. As well, there will be discussion on Dorset's talk page. If you know anyone else who may be interested in helping, contact them and/or copy this into their talk page. Please, do get involved! Kind regards, MasterOfHisOwnDomain (talk) 16:21, 10 August 2009 (UTC) Good BarristerYou would make a good barrister - I liked your 'prosecution' (!) against me on my edit warring. It was actually very good. With compliments. DAFMM (talk), 15th August 2009. Your recent edits to Corfe MullenI noticed your recent edits to the Corfe Mullen page, where you have updated the titles in most cases. I don't have a major problem with these changes, but can I ask why you: a. Took out the word 'The'? Is this a Wikipedia rule that I've missed? b. Changed Period to 'Era'? I realise that the term era adds notoriety, but in this context I would have said the meaning was the same. c. Changed 'Famous (and Infamous) Ex-residents' to 'Notable residents'. When I put the original title, I did so because I wanted to inform the reader that not all (most) of the people mentioned, were less than savoury. That message is lost if you don't follow the links, and not everyone will. Terry C (talk) 20:22, 27 August 2009 (UTC)

'El Diablo'I found it on a website about the liberation of South America. However, after searching the internet I can't find it again! I will keep on trying. DAFMM (talk), 2nd September 2009.
Lance Armstrong page vandalismThanks, Barrett. good save on fixing the vandalism on L.A. today. However, that had to be an all-time classic line, definitely one for the ages: "he is most known for his *** **** that sits in the middle of his *** ******** *** ****. if i could compare him to anyone in the world it would be cubby for certain reasons." LOL! wow, funny, but thanks for catching it anyway! cheers,Jack B108 (talk) 22:25, 8 September 2009 (UTC)

LinksCan you tell me why the fansite Wedreamofjeannie.com isn't allowed yet the fansite BarbaraEdenonline is acceptable? I just don't see the difference. Both are fansites & neither are official.....and the funny thing is.........wedreamofjeannie.com is linked to barbaraedenonline.com. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Dr.mcnrd (talk • contribs) 22:59, 10 September 2009 (UTC)

Emmanuel AdebayorHi BarretBonden. I couldn't help but notice that you undid my editing on the Manchester City section of the Emmanuel Adebayor page. I felt that the incident had to be noted as it was Adebayor's first ever own goal while at Manchester City, and he also scored for Manchester City during the same match. So I thought I should mention it as he scored for and against both teams. I apologise if you felt it shouldn't have been there. Funnycricket (talk) 10:41, 1 January 2010 (UTC)
Clavell TowerHello BarretBonden, please, I don't mean to be rude, but how about if I rewrite the Clavell Tower Section: Tower of the Winds without the italics; The question remains: What is the Clavell Tower? A summerhouse, an observatory or a watchtower? Or solely a folly? This has the greatest credence. Because it is built relatively simple, it is not an easy building to live in, but was pleasant sight to look at after it was built. The tower sits high and exposed on the cliff top, so this could account for an alternative name it has Tower of the Winds. On the other side of the bay, also in lonely and isolated possition but more treasured (it seems) is a Nodding Donkey oil pump. Oil has been pumped from these cliffs since the late 1950’s and the largest European onshore site is nearby at Wytch Farm. A second question arises following this statement and one wonders why some of the revenue earned from the oil, could not have been invested in saving the tower. --Huligan0 (talk) 13:42, 24 January 2010 (UTC)
Hello Barret, you could have helped to clear up that little mistake, but you didn't. Best regards anyway --Huligan0 (talk) 23:36, 24 January 2010 (UTC)
Hello Barret, Please take a look at Anvil Point and then I'm sure you would then like to add it as a new page to: WikiProject Dorset/WatchAll. I'm not sure how you do this and I don't want to mess things, so I'll just translate it. Best regards --Huligan0 (talk) 15:49, 31 January 2010 (UTC)
schools in Dorset & elsewhereHi, I saw your redirect. I'm currently working on Category:United Kingdom articles missing geocoordinate data, which I hope to finish in a few days. My next project is likely to be to tackle the proposed merger of schools to towns/areas. I will mention this at WP:SCHOOL first, but won't object if you want to tackle Dorset. Cheers. Mukkulathor Wiki PageHi, both edits are false. The initial intro page has been vandalized by user T22878. The actual intros tell that these 3 castes (more than 10% of the Tamil population) are of Tamil Royal lineage!!... The ref given are false, just playonwords (thevar, dewar are (respectable) words before being a caste name). These castes used to be soldiers of the kings and Land lords (please check the initial refs) and after the collapse of then ancient order some of them managed to found their little kingdoms (this was the initial intro of this wiki page, much more accurate). Thanks.90.46.32.29 (talk) 19:00, 4 March 2010 (UTC)
this article is about a subtropical garden - there is no need to wander off topic with a description of the Jurassic Coast
External Links on Corfe Mullen PageI appreciate your point of view, but I disagree that the external links that you deleted on the Corfe Mullen page are not within Wikipedia guidelines. If you are going to delete the links to the schools and churches; which you did, then you need to do it for the other pages that include these (take Wimborne for example). I did look at the Wikipedia guidelines links that you gave, but couldn't see that any of the links on the Corfe Mullen page were of a commercial nature. They are all links to non-profit, non-commercial groups and organisations. Furthermore, most of the other links are extremely relevant to the village; the link to the Dorset County Museum for example, which is where some of the references originated from. There may be one or two that are iffy, but I think that the vast majority are highly relevant. For the moment, I have reverted your edits and look forward to your response. --Terry C (talk) 17:33, 29 March 2010 (UTC)
Orphaned non-free image File:EdinburghMonarchslogo.pngThanks for uploading File:EdinburghMonarchslogo.png. West Moors SCApologies I thought that adding a link to the social club web site would be interesting for new arrivals to the village. Especially as its part of the memorial hall and run as a charity for the benefits of its members (people of the village, with elected committe and trustees.. But obviously its spam. That's the problem with these wiki sites. Full of one sided rubbish. Maybe you should get your jack boots down and take a look if you ever visit west moors. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.158.202.89 (talk) 18:27, 14 April 2010 (UTC)

Thanks once again for the links but I am unable to find anything about inserting a photograph into an article. I have made a minor contribution to the article on Christchurch (Dorset) which, I notice, you have also contributed to. I now wish to insert photographs of the Constable's House and another of the castle keep which I think gives a better idea of the motte on which it sits. I would be grateful for any help or links you can give me but please bear in mind that not only am I new to Wiki, I am also new(ish) to computers. --Ykraps (talk) 10:25, 19 April 2010 (UTC)
I have managed to upload 2 photographs (my own work) to the English Wikipedia using 'Special Upload' (after some faffing about). I have even managed to insert them onto my user page but they are massive and I have not worked out how to resize them yet. I will do a bit more experimenting but may get back to you, if that is okay? Thanks once again.--Ykraps (talk) 22:28, 19 April 2010 (UTC)
Manufacturing and Industry in Christchurch, Dorset.Hello Barret, I am currently working on something that I hoped to add to the Christchurch page. I know you have an interest in this and thought you might like to visit my user page and give me some feedback. You'll find the article at the bottom of my page.--Ykraps (talk) 15:59, 13 May 2010 (UTC)
Thanks for your constructive reply. I have checked out the article 'UK Settlements' and there appears to be an option of a 'Industry and Commerce' sub-heading (see 2.1). However as my work is a history of industry, I think it might be better if I split it up as you suggest. There is quite a bit more to add but rather than have it as an article in its own right, I thought it might be better to add it to the existing article. Eventually I would like to see the article upgraded. I have not yet referenced the work as a considerable ammount comes from my own local knowledge. I am confident however that I can supply citations after a few hours in the local library. Can I list a museum as a source? With regards to the images: The Sea Vixen (XP924) was photographed at Hurn Airport where it resides and I will make that clear in the text. Ideally I would of preferred XJ580 which stood for years at the entrance to the Airfield Ind. Est. but could not find a photo that wasn't copyright, see http://www.airsceneuk.org.uk/airshows99/jetheritage/jetheritage.htm. There are pictures of it at its new home, RAF Tangmere, but I didn't think that was suitable either. Photos of existing buildings will be simple enough as I can take them myself (thanks for helping me to understand how this is done) but things that no longer exist are obviously a bit more problematic. Thanks for the link to Geograph UK by the way, I found some great pictures of the old trolley bus at the Christchurch terminal, I think they should go in somewhere. Of course that sentence should go! What was I thinking? Sometimes things just come out as I'm typing. I will do a bit more work on it and hopefully you will take another look. I will keep you informed of how I'm getting on.--Ykraps (talk) 15:31, 19 May 2010 (UTC)
Image ProblemHello again. I have a slight problem with an image I uploaded and hope you might be able to help. I took the photograph with the camera on its side and uploaded the image to wikicommons as it was. I now find that I am unable to rotate the image 90 degrees. Is there a way of doing this? I have read the section on using images but it sounds like I need to edit it using my own software (microsoft photo editor) and then upload it again. Is that right? Regards --Ykraps (talk) 10:48, 22 May 2010 (UTC)
Thanks to your clear instructions, I have managed to overwrite the image.--Ykraps (talk) 06:49, 25 May 2010 (UTC)
