In the original wording, it was clear that Dogali was a battle between Italy and Ethiopia and the latter won. I don't see the problem you see in this sentence:
It is clear that Dogali wasn't an invasion of Ethiopia, since the 1895 invasion is described as the first. Do you think that Italian expansion in Eritrea was not intended at the expense of Ethiopia even before Dogali? The Battle of Dogali was a strategic attack of the Ethiopians in an area occupied by Italy, so that battle was not really wanted by Italy (which the word "designs" suggest). The invasion on the other hand was part of a design to annex Ethiopia. Italica was founded by Scipio at the end of the third century B.C. and became a municipium under Julius Caesar. Hadrian made him a colonia, and under him it became one of the largest cities of Spain. Before him it was little more than a village. This is referenced in the source which I added (Syme, 1964). I could find nowhere that Italica was settled by Italics, but if you have a source please add this information and go ahead, otherwise it is OR. Ancestry sectionGreetings, I have seen your many edits on the article Charles V, and could use your help. Charles V’s descendant’s article, Maximilian I of Mexico, is being targeted for an unknown reason and the ancestry section is being repeatedly deleted (on the talk page they say no sources show a genealogical tree and trees should be deleted) However, I have given three sources that show his ancestry and the very reason the Archduke was chosen as Mexican emperor was his ancestry. The overwhelming majority of articles on royals throughout Europe and elsewhere have their ancestry charts intact. The articles for Elizabeth II, George VI of the United Kingdom, Louis XV, Maria Theresa of Spain, Elisabeth of France, Mary of Teck, Franz Joseph I of Austria, Archduke Franz Karl of Austria, Charles V, etc. all have them! Is it justified that all those, including his wife, have ancestry charts, but his chart is deleted? Just thought I’d ask for help, if not, thanks for your time. The list of members was in alphabetical order, since the majority of inscriptions could not be securely dated. Thus "Traia" (with no cognomen) would go before anyone named "Traius", and "Gaius Traius" would come before "Marcus Traius". Since there is no mention of dates with any of these people, and they are not mentioned in a fixed order from a single inscription, I cannot figure out what the purpose of moving Traia and Gaius Traius after Marcus Traius—and placing Traia third after both of the men—would have been. Ammianus often does not use technical terms for things, including offices, so it is entirely possible that he refers to an eastern empire and a western empire, or the same for emperors, or the “parts” of the empire, etc. But that does not mean that there was a formally constituted Eastern Roman Empire (with capital letters), that we then have to treat as a separate state. What is the problem?Im not a sock of nobody, if you dont believe it just do a report of that Each time I edit the IP number changes automatically, I dont do that by myself, its just common technolgy system (variable) I dindt say that Trajan is Turdetani, but Italica was founded in a previous Turdetani town, and the population was formed by intermarriage with native women.
