Proposed deletion of 10x Genomics

The article 10x Genomics has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

No indication of notability, largely unreferenced. Sources that discuss the company are of dubious quality and largely by a single author. Does not meet WP:CORPDEPTH. Nothing better found via Google News.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. ISCB Wikipedia competition 2018

I am writing this message because we are going to remove our entry pt:Sequenciamento de DNA from the competition. Our decision takes into account the contribution of other users in the page, who are not part of our team. So, our planned contributions into this topic were covered by them. I hope it will not be a problem.

Another consideration is that one of our colleagues forgot to log in while editing Biostatistics. So the editions are attributed to some IPs (143.107.12.77, 189.41.1.246 and 179.220.96.45). We wrote this just to explain the situation.

Backbone-dependent rotamer library

Hello,

Can you explain why you added these categories to the backbone-dependent rotamer library page?

I'm not disagreeing with you but I don't know what these assessments mean, or on what basis or expertise they are made. --Math-ghamhainn (talk) 02:00, 1 May 2021 (UTC)

Hi @Math-ghamhainn:, sure, articles tagged as belonging to WikiProjects are usually rated for quality (based on Wikipedia's content assessment grades) and importance (based on a separate importance scale). These help WikiProjects quantify the quality of articles relating to that WikiProject and should help identify areas where work is needed most within that WikiProject. With this edit, I just filled in the ratings for the blank WikiProject banners (and removed two inactive WikiProject banners).
As for expertise, that's dependent on the editor. I'm a computational biologist rather than a chemist, but I expect someone with that expertise we will rerate for importance in that WikiProject if they feel it's needed.
FWIW I think this has the potential to become a Good Article or Featured Article, but these ratings are attained through a different, peer review like, process (see eg WP:GAN for the Good Article nominations process).
