Edit warring at Big Brother 2004 (UK)

I came across this page via your request at WP:RFPP. From what I can gather this is primarily a dispute between three editors: yourself, User:In23065 and User:92.22.197.197. Semi-protection would be inappropriate to solve this dispute and I don't think full protection is necessary given that I've reblocked User:92.22.197.197 since he continued to edit war immediately after his block expired. Yep, what Oren0 said. Page protection is very much a last resort, since it restricts who can edit (which is not the Wikipedia way!), so I think we can handle this by keeping an eye on the IP. They know the score now, and will be looking at ever-increasing block lengths if they continue to edit-war when their current 24-hour block expires. Page protection

Firstly, good luck with your attempt to finally resolve this dispute. I think you've done a good job of summarising both positions, and hope the other editors respond in kind.

Secondly, I will certainly consider full page protection if your dispute resolution attempt does not have the hoped-for results, or if certain editors refuse to abide by any consensus reached. However, this would only be a temporary measure, and to be honest it's not the best solution. I should also point out that, per page protection policy, the page would be protected on whatever version is current at the time the protection is applied. I'd suggest seeing what the response is when other editors come back on line, and if nothing improves I'll take another look. Feel free to drop me a note if it looks like I'm not paying enough attention.

I suspect, from what I've seen so far, that the situation may resolve itself when one or more editors earns a long-term block. Big Brother 2007 UK - Charley and Nicky mix-up

Either somebody by accident or on purpose, swapped places with Charley to Nicky.

I think nominations are ALRIGHT BUT, Charley is the missing her's last week nominations.

Currently it looks as if Charley was evicted week after the FAKE week (which infact is wrong since she was evicted NEXT WEEK, Nicky was evicted week after FAKE week. Thanks, Alucard, for stepping in with though trolls attacking me. To be personal if I may, they are starting to get me down a bit, and making feel depressed and suicidal. I've been through a lot in real life, and their attacks are hurting whilst I'm in a vulnerable state of play. I'm at the point of taking those trolls to WP:AN; but that can be a daunting experience in itself. And everytime I have gone to admins for help, I never get support or back-up from others who have witnessed the attacks aimed at me. Baseball Bugs continued to harass me at my talk page last night. He accused me of "bigotry" at the Reference desk. He has been nothing but trouble since he joined: At 13:09, 15 October 2008 Bwilkins observed: ... any post that has "lame", "jerk" and "dick" within a few words of each other deserves some action. At 03:38, 8 February 2012 Stanistani referred to his "rancid antics". At 15:40, 23 August 2013 IRWolfie described him as Someone being a jerk or making crass remarks He has now been banned from administrator noticeboards after a racist diatribe but the proposal to ban him from the Reference desk as well was deferred to see if his behaviour improved. It hasn't. He is currently discussing with Nil Einne a "long-term abuse" page from which, according to Nil Einne, it is impossible to ascertain what the nature of the alleged "long-term abuse" might be. It appears that certain individuals are out to "get" Muslims and have no scruples about how they achieve that object. The persons concerned are mostly not U K residents, but their actions are effective here. Apparently racist behaviour where no other explanation is evident secures a conviction under the Race Relations Act even where no formal evidence of same is presented (i.e. it is unnecessary to prove mens rea - that will be assumed). Baseball Bugs virtually admitted this in last night's diatribe. Two sentences in a Daily Telegraph report of 21 September stand out: The move has been prompted by widespread consumer concerns over child abuse, bullying, fake news and internet addiction. Elizabeth Denham, the Information Commissioner, said voluntary regulation was no longer sustainable.
