Welcome to Wikipedia, and appreciationHello. I responded to a comment you made on WT:WIR and a few other editors pointed out that I might have been somewhat harsh, especially given you were a new editor. I took a look and - you are a new editor, of only three months! And yet - you've done absolutely amazing work in those three months, multiple well written articles, and even getting blocked! (Which may not seem like a desirable achievement, but is certainly an achievement! Especially in surviving it, and continuing to do good work!) Anyway, I would like to show a bit of appreciation for that excellent work, by way of welcome.
Anyway, the image is good, hope you like that one, and even more so hope you keep up the great work writing. Thank you. --GRuban (talk) 01:01, 6 October 2024 (UTC)

Introduction to contentious topicsYou have recently edited a page related to the Arab–Israeli conflict, a topic designated as contentious. This is a brief introduction to contentious topics and does not imply that there are any issues with your editing. A special set of rules applies to certain topic areas, which are referred to as contentious topics. These are specially designated topics that tend to attract more persistent disruptive editing than the rest of the project and have been designated as contentious topics by the Arbitration Committee. When editing a contentious topic, Wikipedia’s norms and policies are more strictly enforced, and Wikipedia administrators have special powers in order to reduce disruption to the project. Within contentious topics, editors should edit carefully and constructively, refrain from disrupting the encyclopedia, and:
Additionally, you must be logged-in, have 500 edits and an account age of 30 days, and are not allowed to make more than 1 revert within 24 hours on a page within this topic. Editors are advised to err on the side of caution if unsure whether making a particular edit is consistent with these expectations. If you have any questions about contentious topics procedures you may ask them at the arbitration clerks' noticeboard or you may learn more about this contentious topic here. You may also choose to note which contentious topics you know about by using the {{Ctopics/aware}} template. Selfstudier (talk) 09:34, 15 October 2024 (UTC)

Hi Allthemilescombined1 -- You asked for feedback at WiR on this; not sure what aspect you are concerned about? Some quick off-the-cuff thoughts... The subject looks notable to me under WP:AUTHOR but you probably could make this more obvious for a reviewer (whether in AfC or NPP) by linking the book reviews more clearly. I'd divide it slightly differently, esp moving hospital executive into the earlier section -- the Career is best focused on the wiki-notable career as an author, not on other aspects. I'd also take hospital exec out of the lead. Generally op eds in newspapers don't contribute (much) to notability, and can put reviewers off a bit. (It's a common promotional gambit to list tonnes of these.) I'd slim these down to a few of the most prominent examples. The word "speaker" is also loaded with promotional overtones for reviewers and you might like to remove this from the lead too. List the books that have multiple reviews in the lead with dates of publication and co-author. Hope this helps! Good luck! Espresso Addict (talk) 04:15, 4 November 2024 (UTC)

Spanx UpdatesHi Allthemilescombined1, nice to meet you. I came across your name as a participant in WP: Women in Red and thought you'd be interested in looking at my draft proposal for Spanx. You'll notice that in 2021, Blackstone bought a majority stake in the company, and the deal was prepared by an all-female investment team and that the subsequent board of directors is all women. I'm eager to hear your thoughts on my draft proposal, as the current article is somewhat outdated, missing sources, and has several tags. Thank you in advance! Voting in the 2024 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 2 December 2024. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. --Lajmmoore (talk 18:43, 29 November 2024 (UTC) via MassMessaging Recent editsHere are recent diffs of your additions that fail WP:DUE, WP:WEIGHT, WP:NPOV and WP:RELEVANCE being reverted by various editors: [1], [2], [3], [4] and so on. Instead of addressing these reverts, you have re-added similar content in the same and other articles. Please stop doing this, as it is disruptive editing. If you want a particular piece of content added to a page, and it is challenged, seek consensus for it in talk. You have already been notified about this area being a WP:CTOP, so I won't repeat the earlier warning, but please keep this in mind when editing in future. --Lajmmoore (talk 17:48, 28 December 2024 (UTC) via MassMessaging Sheryl SandbergI reverted your edit to Sheryl Sandberg. Your edit may very well have been correct, but isn't supported as far as I can see in the article. If you have a reliable source indicating specifically that Sandberg is an activist against antisemitism (as per WP:BLP, WP:NOR, WP:RS), feel free to add back your properly cited claim. --Yamla (talk) 23:21, 2 January 2025 (UTC)
2025 Update from Women in GreenHello Allthemilescombined1: 2024 has wrapped up, and what a full year it was for WikiProject Women in Green! Over the past year, we hosted two edit-a-thons, one themed around women's history and another on women around the world. We also managed to achieve most of our 2024 annual goals, nominating 75 articles for GA, reviewing 64 GA nominations, nominating 8 articles for FAC, peer reviewing 3 articles and reviewing 10 FAC nominations. Excellent work, and thank you to everyone involved! For 2025 we have a new set of goals for nominations and reviews. In particular, we would like to see more articles on our Hot 100 list being improved and nominated for GA this year. If you take a look at the list and see an article you are interested in contributing to, feel free to add it and yourself to our Hot 100 project discussion. You might even find someone interested in collaborating with you! This year, as with every year, we hope you will join us in helping improve our coverage of women and women's works on this encyclopedia. Every contribution helps. We'll see you around!
