Copying within Wikipedia requires attribution

Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you copied or moved text from List of distributed computing projects into Berkeley Open Infrastructure for Network Computing. Thanks, but the attribution statement belongs in the Help:Edit summary, rather than the article itself. When editing Wikipedia, there is a field labeled "Edit summary" below the main edit box. It looks like this:

Wikipedia and copyright

Hello Al Piskun! Category:Berkeley Open Infrastructure for Network Computing projects

Hello, Al Piskun,

Please do not put article redirects on a category page. That will cause that page to show up on a list of pages need to be fixed or deleted (which is how I came across this page). Category redirects use a special template, Template:Category redirect, and they are always kept empty. They point to a related category that actually contains the pages that a reader might expect to find in the category redirect.

Category:BOINC Project

You created Category:BOINC Project. We already have :Category:Berkeley Open Infrastructure for Network Computing projects. What is your plan? Thanks for getting in touch. This started when I tried to remove Category:Berkeley Open Infrastructure for Network Computing projects from Berkeley Open Infrastructure for Network Computing because it is not a project, but the category still showed when I removed it. I tried to fix that by creating a category from an existing WikiData Entry - BOINC Project and categorizing them as Category:BOINC Project which is also in the has part(s) section of Berkeley Open Infrastructure for Network Computing wikidata entry. I see now that the Category:Berkeley Open Infrastructure for Network Computing projects on Berkeley Open Infrastructure for Network Computing page came from Template:BOINC projects so I'll back out my category moves and redirect the BOINC Project category to Category:Berkeley Open Infrastructure for Network Computing projects and maybe point to that in the Berkeley Open Infrastructure for Network Computing wikidata entry.

To me that is a beautiful draft. However, it was declined 3 times because references do not show that the subject qualifies for a Wikipedia article even despite your attempts to prove otherwise.
