Hello. Regarding the recent revert you made to Lana (wrestling): you may already know about them, but you might find Wikipedia:Template messages/User talk namespace useful. After a revert, these can be placed on the user's talk page to let them know you considered their edit inappropriate, and also direct new users towards the sandbox. Sir, I do not need threats against me for editing out what only is seen as a false claim from a tabloid. I'm fairly new here but I know I do not intend to have a user threaten me. I can give several reasons why it is false, it has only existed via internet. If you look into the real world, nothin much happened but however Wikipedia is a sight that is to be only truthful and accurate information. People should not be given such false claims onboth pages. It is now an incomplete draft, rather than an article. If the draft eventually gets submitted for review, it will be dealt with accordingly; it it gets abandoned G13 applies. If you believe that it meets any of the speedy criteria, then tag it accordingly, but remember that some apply only to articles, not to drafts. Things like copyright violation apply to any namespace. I don't know much about Twinkle, but when I first saw the MFD the task had presumably not been completed, but it apparently has been now. Those replying to the MFD will decide whether it is appropriate, but in general drafts are allowed time to be developed and to provide evidence of notability, providing that they don't violate the more rigid requirements such as copyright. - David Biddulph (talk) 14:17, 30 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hi! An article I started (El Baile en TVN) was deleted because you claim there was a copyright issue. You can check on this old revision from where the blog post was published: https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Dancing_with_the_Stars&oldid=451386226#Chile from Sept 19 2011 (one day before the blog claimed as source).

Clearly, the blog used data from Wikipedia, not the other way around.

It'd be nice to not be falsely accused of copyright infringemet :)

Speedy deletion nomination of Joseph cannata

Hello MopSeeker. Thanks for patrolling new pages – it's a very important task! I'm just letting you know, however, that you shouldn't tag pages as lacking context (CSD A1), content (CSD A3),or significance (CSD A7) moments after they are created, as you did at Joseph cannata. It's best to wait at least 10–15 minutes for more content to be added if the page is very short, and the articles should not be marked as patrolled. Tagging such pages in a very short space of time may drive away well-meaning contributors, which is not good for Wikipedia. Attack pages (G10), blatant nonsense (G1), copyright violations (G12) and pure vandalism/blatant hoaxes (G3) should of course be tagged and deleted immediately. Thanks..

@Hullaballoo Wolfowitz: Understood. As has already been shown in some previous incidents, I tend to be excessively hasty and deletionist when patrolling new pages. From now on, I will try to wait approximately 10 minutes after the creation of a page before applying the aforementioned criteria. Is this advisable? @AfterOtso06: Sorry for this. After being warned previously, I have attempted to implement the suggested delay during patrols. In this case, I was not aware that the page had recently been created, as I had already begun waiting out the delay, during which I performed several other actions, after which I returned to the page and tagged, assuming that the requisite delay had already passed. Speedy deletion of Uttar Pradesh Sainik School, Lucknow

I noticed you nominated the article on Uttar Pradesh Sainik School, Lucknow for speedy deletion. It's a moot point now, because there was already an article on that topic, so I turned the page into a redirect, but I wanted you to know that the rules for A7 speedy deletion (significance) specifically exempt schools and other educational institutions. It's a rule I hate, but there it is. I have found that the only way to deal with bad school pages is to PROD or AfD them. Even then it's difficult, as institutions of higher education are presumed notable, and many people extend that to high schools as well, but sometimes it works. Restored deleted material to David Lisak article

The research reported in this article is controversial, and an account of the controversy is needed to fairly represent the status of the scholarship. The fact that the criticism is focused on one source (Reason.com) was noted. Lisak's research was fairly represented, at much greater length than the controversy. The criticism is not "undue" since it is a valid academic controversy. Much of what was deleted was included in the original article, so deleting it makes no sense unless the idea is to protect the article's subject from criticism that is happening beyond Wikipedia.
