I looked at the LGBT watchlist and saw over -63,000 on that article, so it appeared to be someone removing content. But I don't think there needs to be a disambiguation page because the church in Canada is not well-known, the link you added is just a page that says "not affiliated..." and the Westboro church in Kansas is the one people will be searching for. Yeah and it just goes to show how a different angle can make you shaggable. That pic got me moist and meaty. :P -✰ALLSTAR✰echo10:10, 18 March 2008 (UTC)
I am young, I'm 17. I've lied about my age. Now you, ASE, Jay*Jay and others will be arrested for inappropriate cyber-pinching and innuendos. ;-) I kid, I kid. Pinch away! (and not just my facial cheeks) AgnosticPreachersKid (talk) 10:27, 18 March 2008 (UTC)
Excellent article, crisp and factual. I think it would be good for DYK, but have not nominated anything for that myself. Good luck! --Parkwells (talk) 12:05, 18 March 2008 (UTC)
Question on firsts - I'd suggest going back to the original sources (rather than wikipedia) to check dates. Who knows, maybe they are counting the election dates, rather than when people took office, or maybe Atlanta overlooked Raleigh's first. The dates should establish it. Also, I've added more historical perspective - Lightner came of age when most blacks in the SOuth were disfranchised, and was of the first generation to be elected to political office after the Voting Rights Act. I think it's worth mentioning.--Parkwells (talk) 12:43, 18 March 2008 (UTC)
Thanks for the comment. I didn't actually take that picture, I cheated and found it on the Cary, North Carolina page ;) If I get a chance I will take a picture of the convention center, but I don't go through downtown Raleigh very often so it might be a while. --Fromnc (talk) 12:15, 18 March 2008 (UTC)
(smacks himself in the head) Duh, I totally forgot it was on the Cary page. ha. That's fine about the Convention Center pic, just if you ever get a chance. Hopefully I'll talk to someone on here soon that goes by that area frequently. I know of a few Raleighites on WP. AgnosticPreachersKid (talk) 12:19, 18 March 2008 (UTC)
*Shudder* You actually want to meet that?? Isn't the trail of slime left behind it toxic to anyone in the vicinity with your IQ or higher (explaining the survival of so many of the current WH WW denizens)? Jay*Jay (talk) 03:27, 19 March 2008 (UTC)
Making sure it's a hanging one - choose the location carefully - and disinfect thoroughly afterwards. You may, in fact, need to wear some type of protective clothing suitable to such a hazardous environment, with another full-body protective layer (see photo, 67 m should be enough?) underneath. Jay*Jay (talk) 04:08, 19 March 2008 (UTC)
Once upon a time, there was a really bored user that was vandalizing pages. Ms. Aleta left warning comments on his talk page. (Notice the spelling of 'faggot' in the unblock request...We're dealing with a real winner here.) The vandal decided it would be 'kool' if he left Aleta this nice message 3 times on her talk page, which Roleplayer and I reverted. Not wanting to leave others out, the boy decided to leave this message on Roleplayer's talk page because he was throwing a temper tantrum about us reverting his vandalism. All of this was going on while I (patiently?) waited for an admin to block the user after I reported him to AIV. So the user was blocked. Well, boredom and retardation got the best of the poor guy and he returned in a few minutes with another, yet similar name. He proceeded to leave lovely messages for the admin that blocked him and for myself. I was thrilled because I didn't want to feel left out like I did that one time at band camp. I reported the sock and he was blocked again. Well, I guess masturbating to midget porn on Xtube and picking the scabs on his scrotum caused by his condition got kinda old. He created another sock and the midget porn must have been really funny to him (that, or he was happy there wasn't too much stuff coming out of those scabs) because he left ROFL messages for me and Aleta. He was so happy about not having alot of pus, apparently, he was rolling on the floor and laughing in excitement. So I reported that account as well. Now, you know The Rest of the Story. AgnosticPreachersKid (talk) 09:28, 19 March 2008 (UTC)
More APK stories! More! *stamps foot* *tantrum brewing* Maybe Uncle APK will tell us the story of Jack and how his bean became a big stalk.... Jay*Jay (talk) 11:39, 19 March 2008 (UTC)
No, but I might tell you a story about the time I "met" a nice off-duty man (that looked like a Greek god) from Iowa while strolling the white sand dunes of a nude beach near Pensacola. The lesson I learned that day: sand can get into so many places. AgnosticPreachersKid (talk) 12:04, 19 March 2008 (UTC)
You are apparently the "real winner" here. If you would have actually looked you would have seen the unblock request was made by someone esle. My guess is that would be you. Did you not realize it was an insult to waterboy, and they were calling him a faggot? That should have been your first clue. 123.242.230.161 (talk) 16:58, 19 March 2008 (UTC)
Here is what I'm wondering. How do you make your IP adress completely different that rapidly? I didn't know you could do that. My IP only changes like once or twice a year. 123.242.230.161 (talk) 17:41, 19 March 2008 (UTC)
O rly? *looks at your contribs* "You do realize that if I wanted to continue making the Anberlin article factual all I would have to do is create an account, right? An account is no longer considered new after a few constructive edits. Also I could make a 100 accounts today, all with completely different IP's and in a short time they would no longer be new accounts. So don't think you all won, I just got bored with it." Kind of silly to be accusing APK of being the one prone to anon IP abuse here... Rachel Summers (talk) 20:17, 19 March 2008 (UTC)
What the fcuk is this person talking about. I've been on off WP for a few hours and find some random anonymous IP (probably Waterboy) accusing me of rotating IP addresses. Troll. AgnosticPreachersKid (talk) 23:38, 19 March 2008 (UTC)
It's the same guy..shortly after I posted here, my talk page and the last thing I edited got hit (but very quickly reverted by others). The silly twit hasn't figured out the virtues of laying low, he's just making enemies left and right. Rachel Summers (talk) 00:01, 20 March 2008 (UTC)
On the Kamau Kambon article, someone is removing the racism category saying it is a violation of BLP. The subject of the article said, "The only solution in my estimation is to exterminate white people." Does the racism category belong? Calling for the genocide of white people seems, oh I don't know, just a wee bit racist. AgnosticPreachersKid (talk) 00:30, 20 March 2008 (UTC)
Oy..depends on how Wikipedia defines racism in terms of categorization. If they go by the definition that implies the desire to use institutional power by the dominant cultural majority (in the US, whites) against minorities, then it wouldn't be. On the other hand, if they go by a broader definition that involves any persecution of a discrete race, regardless of the subject's minority/majority status, then it would be. Rachel Summers (talk) 01:11, 20 March 2008 (UTC)
By the broader definition, yes--but then there is the argument that while such a view constitutes prejudice, as the view of a minority it doesn't count as racism. Again, it depends on which school of thought is being applied here. Rachel Summers (talk) 01:18, 20 March 2008 (UTC)
For what it's worth--I note that groups such as The New Black Panther Party are listed under that category. If they can be interpreted as black supremacist and therefore racist for WP categorization, then seemingly so could Kamau Kambon. Rachel Summers (talk) 01:21, 20 March 2008 (UTC)
With the caveat that I no nothing about the subject, and haven't even looked at the article, I would that it certainly sounds like racism to me. (Of course, there may be problems analogous to those with the homophobia cat being discussed elsewhere.) AletaSing02:04, 20 March 2008 (UTC)
Hello, I've removed your request to have the above user blocked, as I can't tell that he's had any vandalism edits after a final warning, not am I seeing any blatant evidence of sockpuppetry in relation to the three accounts you mentioned. Additionally, User:Boobyboshay is not registered. You may want to bring this case to WP:SSP or WP:RFCU for more investigation. Thanks, Hersfold(t/a/c)02:12, 20 March 2008 (UTC)
The user you said on AIV admitted to being a sock. I might have missed something (as is common for poor old me, but what can you do?) here, but in this comment: [1] I think he says he's not a sock, but admits to vandalizing. If he was blocked for being a sockpuppet, I think he ought to be unblocked, the reblocked for the right reason. Just so you know. Wilhelmina Will (talk) 02:26, 20 March 2008 (UTC)
I'm still not seeing it; all I gather from that is that he is unfortunate enough to have down syndrome, and put something about porn on your userpage, thinking you'd like it. Could you please clarify where the sockpuppet part comes in? Wilhelmina Will (talk) 02:42, 20 March 2008 (UTC)
Also, read his latest comments on his talk page. He says he just "happen" to come across my talk page. His very first edits were to add porn to my page. Please don't try to justify his obvious "sockiness." AgnosticPreachersKid (talk) 02:46, 20 March 2008 (UTC)
Well no, it's not a joke. I merely don't like when someone is jailed for the wrong reasons. I don't see how this evidences that he has more accounts on Wikipedia, but if it does somehow, I have no qualms with it. A Wikipedia criminal, for whatever they've done, has to be properly dealt with, after all. And now I'm sure I've wasted about half an hour of your day, for which I am sorry. Good day, and happy editing!!! Wilhelmina Will (talk) 03:02, 20 March 2008 (UTC)
You don't know the background of his sock accounts and his edits. He's not being "jailed for the wrong reason." He was blocked for being a douche. AgnosticPreachersKid (talk) 03:03, 20 March 2008 (UTC)
Realizing he's a SOCK is called common sense. He won't answer the questions I've asked him about how he came across my talk page and decided as his first edit, to add porn. AgnosticPreachersKid (talk) 03:06, 20 March 2008 (UTC)
Oh, now I see. I don't know of any politer way to say this, but isn't that still a little presumptuous? Maybe he was scared to answer. Wilhelmina Will (talk) 03:15, 20 March 2008 (UTC) Although I can't offer an explanation as to why he would have chosen your page to pornographilize, other than that it was a random choice. Wilhelmina Will (talk) 03:16, 20 March 2008 (UTC)
I'm not surprised. She posted again to test whether or not I would remove it and so she could report me if I did. According to this, I can remove comments. I politely asked her not to post again and she did anyway. AgnosticPreachersKid (talk) 03:58, 20 March 2008 (UTC)
If you notice the edit history in the past few minutes, you'll see why Willa has received a final warning about harassment on her talk page and at the ANI post she started. I'm soooo over this. I'm trying to write a damn article and this is getting in the way. AgnosticPreachersKid (talk) 04:23, 20 March 2008 (UTC)
Really folks. I told her to let it drop. Why don't we ALL just let it drop. This isn't productive, and there's already enough hurt feelings. Lets just all leave the whole thing in our past. --Jayron32.talk.contribs04:53, 20 March 2008 (UTC)
"And scene." This concludes our drama for the day. I agree. Let's all go back to removing the words "poop" and "hi mom!" from articles. Better yet, maybe I'll finish the St. Mary's School article I've been delaying for 2 or 3 days. AgnosticPreachersKid (talk) 04:56, 20 March 2008 (UTC)
Really folks--this is obviously a troll. Why don't we ALL just mind our own business instead of defending them when they throw temper tantrums? Rachel Summers (talk) 05:00, 20 March 2008 (UTC)
Except that as far as I'm aware, we're not doing anything wrong by discussing her hharassment of you on your user page. And I don't care to have my convos interrupted, particularly on behalf of someone who gets their rocks off manipulating others into rushing to their 'rescue'. That's my piece, I'm done now. Rachel Summers (talk) 05:21, 20 March 2008 (UTC)
For the record, I have rescued nobody. I have warned that person, and yet they don't seem to be heeding it. See my latest ANI post. This is getting silly, and for the record, I agree with everything Rachel has said. I just don't think we gain much by continuing the discussion, that is all... --Jayron32.talk.contribs05:30, 20 March 2008 (UTC)

You also might try to contact the Olivia Raney Local History library directly. They may be more responsive. Check this page out: [2] If you bug me like once a week, I may get off my ass and actually GO there myself (its like, 3 miles from my house). I'm serious, keep reminding me. I'd really like to help more, but I get forgetful about this. But barring that, you may be able to call the Olivia Raney folks directly, explain your situation, and they may be able to help! --Jayron32.talk.contribs03:56, 20 March 2008 (UTC)
Can someone please attempt to write something on the Talk:Elisabeth Hasselbeck page, a test edit or something. I have repeatedly tried to post on there and keep getting a "spam filter message." Someone keeps removing material from the article and I can't explain why it belongs. BTW, that user has a major agenda. I'm trying to add: "Arthur Smart is repeately removing material explaining why Elisabeth was right in relation to her debate with Whoopi about black men having the right to vote before women. He says it's POV and that it's debateable. Obviously, there is no debate about when the ammendments were passed and what they were about. It appears to be an attempt to make Elisabeth look wrong by removing facts." It won't let me post it. AgnosticPreachersKid (talk) 01:39, 20 March 2008 (UTC)
I tried to post and got a spam filter link referring to some external site. My post contained no external link, and the only internal link was to this page. So, the problem is more widespread than just effecting you, APK. Maybe report it to WP:ANI with a copy of the spam response? Jay*Jay (talk) 01:53, 20 March 2008 (UTC)
Thank you for your comment. I just now read that deplorable passage at the beginning of this page. It is a shame that so much hatred can be fostered by people who call themselves Christian. I am also saddened that because of their hatred, they do more of the devil’s work in turning people away from Christ than ever he could do.--Phiddipus (talk) 22:41, 20 March 2008 (UTC)
I agree with you. People like that turn people like me (who some Christians, not you, claim need "help") away from church and anything religious. AgnosticPreachersKid (talk) 01:28, 21 March 2008 (UTC)
Wow, quite a day - I am really glad I didn't illustrate my earlier 'Wookie porn' comment. :) Jay*Jay (talk) 11:41, 20 March 2008 (UTC) PS: can't resist noting that I loved the 'admin hopefuls' category on WW's user page. :D Jay*Jay (talk) 11:42, 20 March 2008 (UTC)
Bad, APK - trying to lead innocent me into a WP:COPYVIO. Only George may view Wookie porn - I thought you'd know that. Jay*Jay whistles innocently and doesn't hear any suggestion he has seen Wookie porn Jay*Jay (talk) 11:46, 20 March 2008 (UTC)
Sir, your Wookie porn addiction has clearly addled your mind, for I have no idea what you could possibly mean. I am the very embodyment of innocence, just like Matt, who never deserved his detention. Jay*Jay (talk) 12:28, 20 March 2008 (UTC)

When you get stressed out on WP (like when I did just now by accidentally hitting the goddamn backspace before I posted this message, deleting the whole thing), just watch a good Youtube clip like this one. It's one of my favorite songs, Unwritten, and sung by Esmée Denters with a surprise cameo by Natasha Bedingfield herself. It always puts me in a good mood. Well, that andthesevideos. This concludes our Dr. Phil advice for the day. AgnosticPreachersKid (talk) 04:37, 21 March 2008 (UTC)
Not quite done. Very good vids, APK. The QAF video featured Save the Last Dance for Me and that song, along with many other Motown songs, transport me to a very happy place. One of my favorites is Stand By Me, sung by Ben E. King, and especially as used in the movie Stand By Me. "No I won't be afraid, no I won't be afraid
Just as long as you stand, stand by me" Check this one out. Requiscat in Pace, River. — Becksguy (talk) 05:58, 21 March 2008 (UTC)
I never heard that before, but that's interesting. I'm not really familiar with River because he died before I was allowed to watch movies that weren't G-rated. (sometimes I could watch PG movies and I'm not joking) A google search doesn't come up with a RS, but I'm going to be looking for one. AgnosticPreachersKid (talk) 06:20, 21 March 2008 (UTC)
I remember, I think, an Esquire interview or article in which River Phoenix was said to be bisexual. Have to look it up now. — Becksguy (talk) 06:25, 21 March 2008 (UTC)
Here's the link to the Esquire article on his sexuality and his life. Although, I think River was pansexual, or even just sexual (try-sexual), and I'm not sure the labels applied to him, considering the unconventional upbringing he had. He was a free spirit. — Becksguy (talk) 06:33, 21 March 2008 (UTC)
In all honesty, no. I think we need another RS, although Esquire certainly should be reliable enough. However, there will be major drama and reverting if that's added without additional backup, I think. Some people will be very protective of his reputation, although I think it just makes him more human and admirable. What do others think? Have you seen Stand By Me since it came out in 1986, APK? If not, please do. A very good DVD with extras is out. BTW, APK, did you see my comment on Unchained Melody (to completely change the subject back for a moment) — Becksguy (talk) 06:51, 21 March 2008 (UTC)
Well, hopefully one of us will find an additional source. I've never seen that movie, but will have to head over to Blockbuster soon. I saw the previous comment. I only have the Righteous Brothers' version. AgnosticPreachersKid (talk) 07:00, 21 March 2008 (UTC)
I don't know much about his politics, but he used to be a wonderful singer! (I think he's lost most of his voice now...?) AletaSing13:52, 21 March 2008 (UTC)
Speaking of music, the only "legal" music at the college (PCC stands for Pensacola Concentration Camp) I was forced to attend was this kind of music. They didn't even allow "contemporary christian" music. Perfect video. It was like living in some 1950s Pentecostal prison. AgnosticPreachersKid (talk) 14:02, 21 March 2008 (UTC)
Hey Aleta. Wonderful and lovely RFA you are having. CONGRATULATIONS!!!!! YEY!!!!! Aleta got promoted.!!!!
Did you see the video I mentioned above? I'm looking for the other RS mentioned on River Phoenix, but can't gain access to the book contents. — Becksguy (talk) 04:14, 22 March 2008 (UTC)
I thought that was one of the least important issues brought up in a RfA. And congratulations to you, APK, for nominating her. Great job. — Becksguy (talk) 04:38, 22 March 2008 (UTC)
So did I, Aleta, and the drama. Don't forget drama. Have you used the mop yet? Hopefully to block an unrepentant vandal? :-) — Becksguy (talk) 05:26, 22 March 2008 (UTC)
Not yet, except in starting to go through the new admin school exercises. Give me a little bit to do some of that before I feel ready to try it out for real - definitely not before a night's sleep! AletaSing05:43, 22 March 2008 (UTC)
haha, I could win that game. I'll say anything in public if someone dares me. Looking at the article's talk page and deletion nomination, how in the hell did it not get deleted. The "deletes" far outweighed the "keeps." AgnosticPreachersKid (talk) 05:08, 22 March 2008 (UTC)
I could have sworn I participated in that AfD, !voting as a keeper. Yet no comment from me. It must be a senior moment. lol. Yeah, I was surprised also. And the AfD and it's closing was even more of a hoot than the article. — Becksguy (talk) 05:14, 22 March 2008 (UTC)
Unlike Becksguy, I would have voted speedy delete. I'm one of those evil deletionists when it comes to things like that. But that doesn't mean me and Becksguy can't play that game sometime. AgnosticPreachersKid (talk) 06:19, 22 March 2008 (UTC)
I remember why my !vote wasn't there. I wrote my very brilliant, extremely logical, and exceptionally cogent keep comment, and then before saving, took a quick nap, and then found the AfD closed when I woke up. I'm also very modest - lol. Oh well. Hey, play that game or even better, have a cup of coffee at Starbucks (another addiction) with you any time APK. And yes, Aleta, that is definitely a guy thing, but I have seen females playing it and (I think) other versions on YouTube also. Any taboo word is fair game, especially bathroom sophomoric ones. — Becksguy (talk) 06:42, 22 March 2008 (UTC)
