TWL HighBeam check-inHello Wikipedia Library Users, You are receiving this message because the Wikipedia Library has record of you receiving a one-year subscription to HighBeam. This is a brief update to remind you about that access:
Finally, we would greatly appreciate if you filled out this short survey. The survey helps us not only better serve you with facilitating this particular partnership, but also helps us discover what other partnerships and services the Wikipedia Library can offer. Thank you. Sent by MediaWiki message delivery (talk) at 16:45, 13 April 2015 (UTC) Mattress performanceYour recent editing history at Mattress Performance (Carry That Weight) shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. To avoid being blocked, instead of reverting please consider using the article's talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. See BRD for how this is done. You can post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection. Please discuss before you revert or change. Seems to me like vandalism.--Cyve (talk) 02:31, 28 April 2015 (UTC)
A rape accusation presented as an artwork is still a rape accusationsince you made reference to an internal mental struggle you were having trying to comprehend this, perhaps the above will clear things up for you a teensy bit. BravuraRe: this, if you're referring to two brief off-topic comments about beer, following many serious and constructive comments on topic by the same two users, I think most would say your comment is overblown and does more harm than good. But I'll let it stand. Have a great day. ―Mandruss ☎ 19:35, 5 June 2015 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of Linda NishioHello A21sauce, I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Linda Nishio for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly say why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia. If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top. You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Arcticgriffin (talk) 22:40, 5 June 2015 (UTC) Be careful... with edit summaries like this. Do not accuse of someone being on someone's payroll. Learn to edit with civility. Else I'm sure administrators would find your attitude extremely heartening. —Indian:BIO [ ChitChat ] 04:52, 7 June 2015 (UTC)
CivilityJust because the article is about an alleged rape doesn't mean you're given extra license to make pointlessly misanthropic comments in response to acceptable talk page chatter. Centrify (f / k / a Factchecker_has_annoying_username) (talk) (contribs) 14:34, 7 June 2015 (UTC)
NishioHi A21, I made a start on a Linda Nishio article here, in case it helps to save it. Feel free to copy that to your user space if you want to. It's probably not enough as it is, but if you update it it might be notable enough. If you do decide to develop it, you could check with Keegan whether it's okay to restore it. I have restored File:OpeningDayIncheonBiennale2009.jpg. It looks like when you initially uploaded it, you tagged it as being used under a claim of fair use, which is not acceptable under our image use policy. As you said in one of the edit summaries, you were confused by the templates and it looks like you inadvertently hid the source information for the image. I will try to make it simple: 1. Am I correct in my understanding that you are the photographer and copyright holder of this image? In other words, did you hold the camera in your hands, and click the button to take the picture? I have added the template {{own}}, which is sufficient here if this picture is completely your own work.
2. (Assuming that you are the photographer/copyright holder) If you edit the image and look down at the bottom where it says
I hope this helps. I apologize for how confusing it can be. If you reply and would like to call my attention to this page, please include
June 2015Please do not introduce incorrect information into articles, as you did to Kareem Abdul-Jabbar. Your edits appear to be vandalism and have been reverted. By posts on DRN and the article talkpage, I've excused you from further editing concerning this individual. On reflecting, I don't think this situation warrants the "paperwork" and the negativity associated with formally documenting a topic-ban under the BLP discretionary sanctions, unless you insist on it, but I do instruct you to cut it out. Newyorkbrad (talk) 00:00, 19 June 2015 (UTC) Regarding your edits to Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, and subsequent appeal to WP:AN/I for support:

Logged out editsIn the ANI thread you started regarding MarnetteD you wrote "When the next editor undid the edit, jokingly adding that the photo, mostly of people of Asian descent couldn't have been taken in "Arkansas, Alaska, or Tennessee", MarnetteD simply undid that edit, repeating what he had said in his summary and not clarifying it." The next editor in question is 38.105.132.130 (talk · contribs), which is clearly you. Do you understand that editing while logged out in order to present yourself as two separate individuals in a dispute is against policy? --Jezebel's Ponyobons mots 20:21, 15 July 2015 (UTC)
Green HornetWhile I agree with your assessment that the Green Hornet cover from July 1944 was racist, that information did not belong in the Popular Culture section, since it referred to something that was actually in a Green Hornet comic (and thus belonged in the Comics section of the article). Additionally, gmail is not a valid source, and it's a useless citation, since the citation simply takes readers to their own gmail accounts. Thanks, Aristophanes68 (talk) 18:48, 2 August 2015 (UTC)
Your edit to my talk pageThis warning is not appropriate. A single edit does not constitute edit warring by any measure. Also per the article talk page, you are on pretty thin ground when your personal opinion trumps a reliable source, as well as two other editors who disagree with you. I suggest you revert your edit to my talk page.Mattnad (talk) 20:28, 10 August 2015 (UTC) You erased what I did, repeating your own edit, and it will make you think twice about doing it again. If it doesn't keep expecting these. All up to you.--A21sauce (talk) 20:55, 10 August 2015 (UTC)
World Trade CenterIt's not a good idea to simply redirect an article like that, because it fails to preserve the history necessary for GFDL and CC attribution (see WP:HISTORYMERGE]). The question is, though, should the history go under World Trade Center (1973-2001) or the other one? hbdragon88 (talk) 15:59, 11 August 2015 (UTC)

--MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 07:32, 19 November 2015 (UTC) (You can subscribe/unsubscribe from future notifications for NYC-area events by adding or removing your name from this list.) Hi, Star Wars genreThanks for voicing your opinion on the talk page, but we are still in the midst of a consensus-forming discussion. Until that discussion is closed, we shouldn't modify the content in question. Ideas or suggestions should be given at the talk page only for now.
As for changing United States to US, that is unnecessary. Per MOS:U.S., the country name is not typically abbreviated when it is mentioned alongside other countries, as was the case here with Canada. Also this edit has a few other glaring issues. Originally the text stated, "It surpassed Jaws (1975) to become the highest-grossing film of all time until E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial in 1982." However, you changed it to, "It surpassed Jaws (1975) to become, until E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial in 1982, the highest-grossing film of all time." The sentence, to me, seems more awkward now. Inserting that in the middle breaks the focal point of the statement, which should be the fact that it became the highest-grossing film. If you really want to enhance it, I would suggest: "It surpassed Jaws (1975) to become the highest-grossing film of all time, a record it held until the release of E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial in 1982." And finally, that same edit resulted in a duplication of Peter Cushing in the lead. There were a lot of errors and questionable changes, which is why I reverted them all. Per WP:BRD etiquette, you were bold with your edit and it was reverted, so a discussion of your proposed changes with either me directly or on the article's talk page would be a good idea at this point. If you'd like to discuss them here, I'm game. --GoneIn60 (talk) 21:46, 24 November 2015 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Vito Schnabel
If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Vito Schnabel requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. noclador (talk) 22:40, 18 May 2016 (UTC)
