Tribes, Vibes + Scribes is an album by the British acid jazz band Incognito, released in 1992 on Talkin' Loud Records.[1] It was produced by band leader Jean-Paul "Bluey" Maunick.[1] The album peaked at No. 5 on the US Billboard Top Contemporary Jazz Albums chart.[2] SinglesA cover of Stevie Wonder's "Don't You Worry 'bout a Thing" reached No. 19 on the UK Singles chart and No. 6 on the Dutch Single Top 100.[3][4][5] Critical reception
Craig Lytle of AllMusic, in a 4 out of 5 star review, wrote "This England-based dance and funk, but mostly jazz, band brings nothing but energy to this project.
