Tony Caprari
Antonio Caprari (born 28 November 1960), professionally known as Tony Caprari, is a South African actor and assistant director.[1][2][3] He is best known for the roles in the films 10,000 BC, Lord of War and The Triangle as well as in the television serials such as Black Sails,[2][4] 7de Laan.[5][2][6] Personal lifeCaprari was born on 28 November 1960 in South Africa. He attended Pretoria Technikon specialising in Formal Acting, Singing & Vocal Training.[2][failed verification] CareerIn 1987, Caprari made his film debut in Kick or Die, playing the role of "Red." Over the years, he acted in various films across multiple genres, including Ernest Goes to Africa, Tarzan and the Lost City, Operation Delta Force 5: Random Fire, and Lord of War. In 1999, he featured in the direct-to-video film Cold Harvest and the made-for-TV movie Shark Attack.[7] He began his television career in 1988 with the series The Sea Tiger, where he played "Siebel." Over time, he appeared in minor roles in popular TV series such as Tropical Heat, Tarzan: The Epic Adventures, The Adventures of Sinbad, Charlie Jade, and Wild at Heart. In 2005, he acted in the mini-series The Triangle, which was a notable success. He later appeared in another mini-series, Diamonds, in 2008, and made a guest appearance as "Sarel" in the SABC2 sitcom Askies in 2009.[7] Caprari also made a minor appearance on There's a Zulu on My Stoep as a poacher.[2] Caprari also played the role of "Darika" in Skeem Saam, which aired on SABC1.
