The Wife of General Ling
The Wife of General Ling is a 1937 British drama film directed by Ladislao Vajda and starring Griffith Jones, Valéry Inkijinoff and Adrianne Renn.[1] It was adapted from a novel by Dorothy Hope and Peter Cheyney. The film was made at Shepperton Studios by the independent company Premier-Stafford Productions. PlotFollowing the murder of a loyal Chinese, John Fenton, a British secret-service agent, is aided by the European wife of a Hong Kong merchant, Mr Wong, to expose him as a rebel war lord, General Ling.
