Template talk:ShadowrunInclusion/exclusion criteriaI'm not sure if there was a criteria in mind when this template was made, but I'd like to suggest that only major things be included. Things that are absolutely Shadowrun and immediately come to mind when someone thinks of it. For example: Goblinization and Dunkelzahn. Goblinization was a major event in Shadowrun history, which is reaches back decades before the "present" as set forward in the first novels and sourcebooks and continues on to the "present" as introduced in the current incarnation. Dunkelzahn is the face of the dragons in the Shadowrun universe and the most tangible evidence of the traditional fantasy elements in Shadowrun, outside of the player races (which should not be introduced unless there is enough material and notability to warrant their own articles). I'm leary to introduce any of the articles on the megacorps into the template because, while they're very Shadowrun, they're also fairly fluid. One edition's Big Ten is not the same as the next edition's. That said, some megacorps I could see, as they may not be the biggest, monetarily, they are pretty well known and very Shadowrun. For example, Fuchi would probably not be as they're not terribly unique. Lone Star and Doc Wagon on the other hands are fairly unique concepts for corporations and tend to stick out in players' minds. Probably not Knight Errant, as they're not very large and really seem as though they were only added so that Lone Star would have some competition and seem more real. Granted, I'm speaking in generalities and wide-sweeping assumptions, but I don't think I'm too far off of the mark. If you don't agree, let me know. EvilCouch 09:04, 13 June 2007 (UTC)
