Too big?

The television specials section is way too big. I suggest that someone who knows Peanuts pretty well weed out some of the less known specials leaving only the well known ones. Yeah, that would work, too. Just, on the main template, put a link of "Television Specials" linking to the new template, from which one could navigate through the specials. Donna Johnson?

Why is Donna Johnson on the template at all? Why does she even have a Wikipedia page? Her sole claim to fame is the supposed inspiration of the Peanuts character "the little red-headed girl". Navbox with collapsible groups

I have just converted this template's navbox into navbox with collapsible groups. The purpose of this change is to improve the display in articles. Currently, the navbox is quite large when expanded; when collapsed, only the title bar is displayed. The changes I have implemented cause the navbox to display three bars: one for the template itself (expanded), one for the characters (expanded), and one for everything else (collapsed).

I have not saved over the template at this time. Instead, I have created its sandbox so that it can be reviewed by the community. One particular thing I'm concerned about, is a message box near the top of Template:Navbox with collapsible groups which says that it does not display for mobile views. The community may wish to include this as part the discussion. An alternate option is to create two individual navboxes in {{Peanuts}} that will effectively perform the same task: show the list of characters as a small expanded navbox, but collapse the large navbox below it. — CJDOS, Sheridan, OR (talk) 07:00, 13 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

 Done: With no reply, I've chosen Suggested Option 1 as being the most versatile for the different Peanuts articles.
