Yes, I have noticed this. One way would be for pages to pass in a complete image tag, instead of the filename, and the other would be to create an optional size variable. I think the latter would be best. Does anyone have any thoughts? — Chris ( tc ) — 08:57, 6 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]
What should be included in the Restaurants field? It seems to me there are roughly 3 possiblities:
1) Rests. that the person was either the Head Chef or Owner.
2) Significant restaurants in the career of the Chef e.g. a notable restaurant where the person served as sous-chef.
3) Attempt to list all restaurants the person worked at in any capacity.

I'm wondering this as well. We just ate at Cibo in NYC thinking it was one of Tyler Florence's restaurants based on the Wiki article. Turns out he hasn't been there since around '95.
I think there should be a way to indicate, past and current positions at a restaurant.
Somewhere (though I can't recall where) it was decided that that type of information should be included in the article itself. Many chefs have a lot of books, and putting them in the infobox could really clutter it up. — Chris ( tc ) — 04:18, 6 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Some articles even choose to not include a select list of works written by a single author because sometimes people think it's too much. Perhaps a select list of works is appropriate in most cases, but certainly not all published works. GaryKing (talk)07:21, 6 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Education
Does the "education" field simply mean where the person was educated or where specifically where they trained to be a chef? For instance Heston Blumenthal's culinary education was self taught but he did go to school, which does it refer to? The Madras (talk) 11:11, 6 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
The field is typically used to display where the individual received any college/university degrees. For chefs, it could certainly include any formal food education, though other significant education would also be appropriate. —ADavidB01:12, 10 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
This message is to notify you that there is an RfC ongoing on whether to add pronunciation info to {{Infobox person}}, a discussion which may also affect this template. Your comments on the matter are appreciated. The discussion can be found here. Thanks! 0x0077BE(talk · contrib)17:25, 16 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Michelin stars
Out of interest, is there a reason the template instructions don't encourage the use of {{Michelin stars}} instead of {{Rating}}?
They render rather nicely (I've put these in an infobox-coloured div, for a better example):
