Tatce
Tatce is a municipality and village in Kolín District in the Central Bohemian Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 700 inhabitants. EtymologyIn old Czech, the word 'tat' meant a thief and tatec was a diminutive of tat. So the name Tatce meant "the village of little thieves".[2] GeographyTatce is located about 17 kilometres (11 mi) northwest of Kolín and 32 km (20 mi) east of Prague. TransportTatce is located on the railway line Prague–Kolín.[6] SightsThere are no protected cultural monuments in the municipality.[7] A landmark is the Chapel of the Virgin Mary, which dates from 1843.[8] References
