Třesov
Třesov is a municipality and village in Třebíč District in the Vysočina Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 100 inhabitants. GeographyTřesov is located about 15 kilometres (9 mi) east of Třebíč and 37 km (23 mi) west of Brno. It lies in the Jevišovice Uplands. The highest point is at 468 m (1,535 ft) above sea level. The southern municipal border is formed by the Dalešice Reservoir. HistoryThe first written mention of Třesov is from 1464. Throughout its history, the village was owned by the monastery in Třebíč.[2] Demographics
TransportThere are no railways or major roads passing through the municipality. SightsThe main landmark and the only protected cultural monument in Třesov is the Chapel of Saint John of Nepomuk with a belfry, located in the centre of the village. It dates from 1857.[2][5] References
