Stratford and Bow (UK Parliament constituency)
Stratford and Bow is a constituency of the House of Commons in the UK Parliament.[2] Further to the completion of the 2023 review of Westminster constituencies, it was first contested at the 2024 general election. It is currently represented in Parliament by Uma Kumaran of the Labour Party, who has served as MP since 2024.[3] Constituency profileThe population of Newham has grown significantly in the 21st century[4] so its representation increased from two seats to three in the 2023 boundary review. This seat includes Stratford which has undergone extensive regeneration and hosted the 2012 Olympic Games. Bow and Old Ford to the west and Forest Gate to the east have mostly Victorian housing with some post-war housing estates.
