Socca is a team sports variant of football, best known in 6-a-side 40-minute format.[1][2]

The International Socca Federation (ISF) is a governing body for socca.[3]

History and rules

Socca mainly differs from minifootball in larger size of the field, game durations, penalty kick style, focusing of semi and fully professional, in addition to futsal and retired football players.[4]

Matches are played in 2 halves of 20 (sometimes 25) minutes each. Teams consist of a goalkeeper and five outfield players.[5][6][7]

Matches are played on both natural and synthetic turf. The size of the field is 30x50 m, the size of the goal is 2x5 m.[8][9][10]
