Quercus vaseyana
Quercus vaseyana is a species of tree in the beech family Fagaceae. It is native to northern Mexico and the U.S. state of Texas. The specific epithet vaseyana honors the American botanist George S. Vasey. The species is commonly called the Vasey oak. DescriptionQuercus vaseyana is a shrub or small tree up to 10 metres (33 feet) tall. The bark is brown.
