The Port of Tampico is a port facility located on Mexico’s Gulf coast, on the NW side of the Gulf of Campeche. It stands at Tampico, Tamaulipas, 13.7 nautical miles south of Altamira.[1]

A leading port for the offshore industry, Tampico handles most cargo types.[1]
