Pauléoula
Pauléoula (also spelled Poléoula) is a village in the far west of Ivory Coast. It is in the sub-prefecture of Taï, Taï Department, Cavally Region, Montagnes District. The village is just over three kilometres east of the Cavally River, which is the border with Liberia. Pauléoula was a commune until March 2012, when it became one of 1126 communes nationwide that were abolished.[1] The original population of Pauléoula consisted mostly of members of the Oubi ethnic group, a small subgroup of the Krahn or Guéré people.
