Pablo López (footballer, born 1998)
Pablo César López Martínez (born 7 January 1998) is a Mexican professional footballer who plays as a midfielder. He was included in The Guardian's "Next Generation 2015".[2] Club careerLópez made his Liga MX debut against América on 19 November 2016, and made his Copa MX debut against Atlético San Luis on 17 February 2016.[3] When midfielder Érick Gutiérrez joined Dutch Eredivisie club PSV Eindhoven in 2018, López became his replacement.[4][5] He scored his first goal in the professional ranks in September against Guadalajara.[5] He started 20 games overall during the 2018–19 season.
