Othmane Maamma
Othmane Maamma (born 6 October 2005) is a professional footballer who plays as a forward for Ligue 1 club Montpellier. Born in France, he represents Morocco at youth international level.[1] Club careerOn 12 May 2024, Maamma made his professional debut for Ligue 1 club Montpellier, coming on as a substitute in a 2–0 defeat at home to Monaco.[2] He completed five dribbles and two shots on target, a performance that "impressed observers".[3][4] In the following match on 19 May, he made his first senior start and scored his first professional goal in a 2–2 draw away to Lens.[5][6] At the age of 18 years and 226 days, he became the third-youngest goalscorer in Montpellier's history.[7] International careerIn March 2024, Maamma was called up by the Morocco under-20s for two friendly matches against the England under-19s and the United States under-19s.[8] He played in the match against England.[9] References
