Orange Township is one of the eighteen townships of Delaware County, Ohio, United States. The 2020 census found 37,452 people in the township. GeographyLocated in the southern part of the county, it borders the following townships and city:

Name and historyOrganized in 1816, it is one of six Orange Townships statewide.[5] GovernmentThe township is governed by a three-member board of trustees, who are elected in November of odd-numbered years to a four-year term beginning on the following January 1. Two are elected in the year after the presidential election and one is elected in the year before it. There is also an elected fiscal officer, who serves a four-year term beginning on April 1 of the year after the election, which is held in November of the year before the presidential election. Vacancies in the fiscal officership or on the board of trustees are filled by the remaining trustees. The Township is serviced by the full-time Orange Township Fire Department. There is no police department, but policing services are offered by the Delaware County Sheriff's Office. Services, such as snow removal, street maintenance and signage are offered with the Orange Township service department. EducationChildren from Orange Township attend the Olentangy Local School District. ParksOrange Township has many parks, including an aquatic center that has a leisure pool with a kids area, water slides and a lap pool.
