Nico Sallach
Nico Sallach is a German metalcore and electronicore singer and songwriter. He was one of two singers in the trancecore band To the Rats and Wolves from their start in 2012 to the dissolvement in 2020. In 2020 he replaced Sabastian "Sushi" Biesler as the clean vocalist for Electric Callboy working alongside Kevin Ratajczak. HistoryBorn in 1990,[citation needed] Sallach grew up as the eldest of three brothers. His singing career started when he was in a school band. Aside from a singing career, he is trained in geriatric nursing and completed further training as a specialist in extra-clinical ventilation. During his music career, he worked for many years in this field with patients diagnosed with MS and ALS.[1] In 2009, he was the frontman for the band Through Your Veins and in 2012 he was the founding member of To the Rats and Wolves along with fellow singer Dixi Wu, guitarists Danny Güldener and Marc Dobruk, bassist Stanislaw Czywil, and drummer Simon Yildirim. Sallach was the clean vocalist while Wu did the unclean lyric. They released three albums and one EP until they dissolved in 2020.[2][3][4] In 2020, Sallach replaced Sebastian Biesler as the new clean vocalist for Electric Callboy, still called "Eskimo Callboy" at the time. Together they released the Ep titled MMXX with a music video for the song "Hypa Hypa". In 2021, he hosted the podcast Oberkante Unterlippe alongside fellow Electric Callboy co-singer Kevin Ratajczak, which was broadcast on Rock Antenne.[5][6] In 2022, the band renamed themselves Electric Callboy. The first studio album with Sallach, Tekkno, was released shortly after the name change and spent a week at number one in the German album charts. In 2023, he appeared as a featured artist on the single Pizza Homicide by Samurai Pizza Cats, the second band of fellow Electric Callboy guitarist Daniel "Danskimo" Haniß.[7] StyleSallach is responsible for the vocals in Electric Callboy, as he was previously in To the Rats and Wolves in which he sang most of the bands hooks and choruses. Since joining the band, the metalcore group has increasingly incorporated musical influences such as pop and EDM. He writes most of the lyrics together with his co-singer and unclean vocalist Kevin Ratajczak.[8][9] DiscographyTo the Rats and WolvesAlbums
