Nick Erickson
Nicholas Erickson (July 18, 1870 – June 21, 1931) was a Coxswain serving in the United States Navy during the Spanish–American War who received the Medal of Honor for bravery.[1] BiographyErickson was born July 18, 1870, in Finland, and after entering the navy he was sent to fight in the Spanish–American War aboard the U.S.S. Marblehead as a Coxswain.[2] He died June 21, 1931, and was buried in Woodlawn Cemetery Bronx, New York. Medal of Honor citationRank and organization: Coxswain, U.S. Navy.
