Nebojša Vukanović
Nebojša Vukanović (born 10 January 1979) is a Bosnian Serb politician and journalist serving as member of the National Assembly of Republika Srpska since 2018. He is the founder and president of the For Justice and Order party. BiographyEarly life and educationVukanović was born on 10 January 1979 in Trebinje. He finished elementary and high school in his hometown, and graduated in 2005 from the Faculty of Philosophy of the University of Montenegro.[1] Two years after graduating, he worked as a professor and journalist.[1] Political careerSince 2006, Vukanović has been known to the public as a critic of Milorad Dodik and the Alliance of Independent Social Democrats. He began his political career in 2012, running for mayor of Trebinje in the 2012 municipal elections, but failed to get elected having obtained only 27.56% of the vote.[2] Vukanović formed the For Justice and Order party in 2014, and managed to get elected to the National Assembly of Republika Srpska in the 2018 general election.[3] He was re-elected to the National Assembly in the 2022 general election, obtaining over 5,000 votes.[1][4] Personal lifeSince 2011, Vukanović has been running his own blog and YouTube channel, with the latter having over 100,000 subscribers.[5] On 4 September 2021, Vukanović was physically attacked in Cetinje by a group of Montenegrin nationalists.[6] He was physically attacked again at a restaurant near Foča in July 2023.[7] Nebojša is married to Zorana Vukanović, with whom he lives in Trebinje.[1] References
